So....I noticed avatars changing all over the site and then found this thread. So do I have to sign up to join, or just jump in at any old given time? ((Gaaaaaah, I'm sorry, Nut! I was going to save Link for you because you're kind of the best possible person on the forum to pick him, but then I noticed you hadn't been doing Spirit Weeks yet, and then slingshot, and, and. ;__; I hope I'm not the reason you didn't go with him.)) No, not at all! (I would have gone as Toon Link, anyway.) I did notice you had picked Link and was thrilled to see it, though--I love seeing other people's homages to Zelda. (I didn't even realize the significance of his slingshot till you pointed it out, but that's perfect for you. xD) Another thing that figured into it, besides the drawing, is that I've already gone as Toon Link once before for Spirit Weeks--for the Heroes and Villains theme one year, I had my name set to Hero of Winds and had some WW-styled av and sig art. I was tempted to haul it out again, but that felt like cheating. xD ...And the other thing was, I didn't feel like changing my rank. Might seem silly, but I have difficulty seeing Link's name in pink. xD; That other year, I actually had my rank changed to Times Star so that my name would show up in green while I was masquerading as the Hero of Winds. (The thought crossed my mind to ask for an Artist rank to get my name in red right now, but I decided pink was close enough considering I hadn't even bothered to draw my own av/sig art. :B) ((Phew, I'm glad to hear that. ^^; And yeah, I kinda figured that even if you did join Spirit Weeks as Link, it would be a safe bet you wouldn't go as TP or SS-era Link — allthough I still would have been glad to switch to a different character if you had wanted him. xD I'm not enough of a gamer to feel too strongly about it one way or another (although Link is pretty awesome >_>). Oh yeah, I remember that now! =D I was amazed how much effort and detail you put into each of your themes, changing your rank to fit the character even in addition to drawing your own profile decorations. But while those sorts of details are awesome, you can still get a lot of fun out of Spirit Weeks without it. I think your Red profile looks great!)) |

Eh, I dunno, Banjo. It's pretty lame for a party. Also those two guys holding the weird red and white balls keep staring at me. What do they think I am, some kind of pockety monster?

By the way, would it be okay to request no huge spoilers in people's profiles? XD; I mean, I know I for one am super behind the times with Kingdom Hearts, so, um... just a thought. ((Er... Is mine a spoiler? ^^")) I'd say yes, despite that I'd already been spoiled about that anyway. XD; *hasn't even finished KH2, shameful I know* Personally, when I'm not sure if something is a spoiler or not, I consider it one just to be safe. But that's just me. |
