I could definitely be a more active member, but even the very short time I spend here makes me feel happy. Everyone is so supporting and kind. I always laugh when I'm here, which is something I definitely don't do anywhere else. It's one of the only places I can be myself without the feeling of other judging because I act differently than them. I feel like it's some sort of home.
In short, this place is awesome.

I love the peacefulness here. The NTWF feels like a place you can come be yourself, and not be judged as crazy or weird in a bad way. It's a place where eccentricities are respected, even admired. There's almost no drama between members, you can almost always count on arguments to be resolved quickly and reasonably. The moderators are amazing, never creating interpersonal drama or treating people as any less than professional (and the standards of the mods and people here has really led to me being judgmental of sites with so much drama =P)
Not to mention, the people here are awesome, fun, hilarious, fantastic people who not only delight in sharing their talents with us all, but finding the talent in others and appreciating it in turn.

The culture of sharing.
Sharing our art, sharing compassion, just sharing and listening and discussing all sorts of things, serious and silly.
Where else would I think to post a thread about translating some obscure Latin letter?
Where else would I talk about things I never even thought I could understand in myself?
Everyone is so accepting of each other, so generous. Everyone is so willing to just share, share a bit of time, share a bit of love.
