I figured I'd better make one of these! For research purposes? Let's go with that. Here's what I'm working on right now: The skeleton's there just so I could get proportions and things better. I'm going to go back and draw the scales and outside parts later. But I can't get the tail right ;-; I've drawn and erased it several times cause it looks way off

Alyssa-art is always nice.
<3 Oh my, that is a cute-looking pangolin! They are generally very under-appreciated animals. Can't wait to see what it looks like finished.

<3 Pangolin! And <3 Alyssa art! I think it looks fine just the way it is. ^^ You could add a little scritchy scratchy ground sketch. ^^

I actually made some things Nothing real, just some doodles in my sketchbook. I'm just gonna post all of them because if I choose only the ones I think are good, you'll never see anything X3 If I can figure out how to make them not so weird and bright, I will fix them as soon as I can. also I don't know why everything is all sideways? Uh I'll fix that too

Awwww Alyssa all these animals are so adorable. I think the way to get the lines darker and more visible is to fiddle with the contrast settings? Or... something like that. xD

The way I make my lines darker is by adjusting levels — which should just be a Control/Command+L in Photoshop, if that's what you're working in. Then you just slide the black slider on the left inwards a bit until the lines look dark, and the white slider on the right inwards a bit until the background looks clean. =D (You might not need the white slider, though; brightness is not something you are lacking in those scans.)
And these are all basically fantastic, Alyssa. <3 You have such a talent for creating expressive faces on your animals. I especially love your birds — that is the most amazing ostrich I have ever seen in my life. xD Awesome work, and thanks so much for sharing this with us!
*continues to lurk thread* >.>;

Thank youuuu both <3333 (and I figured out partly what I did wrong, I scanned a different way than I usually do and that messed it up. but yah, once I get my own laptop back I can fix them in photoshop.) Birds are just so fun to draw X3 and ostriches have always fascinated me for some odd reason oh and MOAR OWL

I need to start making pictures with the intent of finishing them. Soon. I wanted to do a special little project for some people for Christmas, but never got around to it. So I'm working on it now. I'm making some alphabet flashcards for small cousins and the kids of friends. Right now I'm just going through animals, deciding what pictures go to what letters. This is what i've got right now, but it's subject to change. Also, if you have suggestions, let me know 8D I cannot think of things for some (most) letters. I'm not sure if the frog is terrified of the fly or too excited to do anything.
