This isn't for any rant in particular, but it's just a little something I thought might lift some people's spirits.

Hugs for the anonymous mini-rants poster.
Friendship isn't as simple as being about ranking people from best to worst and only caring about the best ones. It's really not. People come in so many wildly different flavours of interesting and loveable and precious and important. Although that doesn't help me predict how things will end in your particular situation, it's still something I thought you oughta know.

I am the worst and whiniest person You have not committed any crime, therefore you're not the worst person. You're not whining pointlessly or gratuitously, therefore you're not the whiniest person. Don't beat yourself up, okay? ^^ *huggles*

Hugs for Sae! I FREAKING HATE IT when teachers swamp students with work, than claim it makes them HAPPY?! How?! I'm not a student before anything else, that's just the fact! Nothing is going to change that! I already have an actual life, I'm a songstress, I'm a creative writer, and I have my times to relax, play games, and just run around in the open air and sing. I also protect the people I care for when they require it. That may not be important to those teachers, but it's the most important thing in the whole freaking universe to me! I'm not a homework-doing robot. I am a human being, with a life and a soul. It's time they realized that. I've never seen a teacher claim homework makes students happy. xD Maybe your teachers are being silly? I'unno. But if you're in your senior year, that sort of stuff is inevitable. Especially if you're taking high-level classes. If you feel like you're being sucked into the void by all that work, you could either work on better managing your time, learn to work with it, or--worst case scenario, and only if it's causing you serious trouble--switch to an easier class. You have my sympathies, though. I get swamped with work a lot. :/ It's a pain in the butt and super-stressful, especially when you factor in college stuff. Although I happen to really like the stuff I'm studying, so it's not too bad! Learning is cool, when it's administered right.

Hugs for Azzie *huuugs* <3
You know, I do think you're a ray of sunshine. It's okay to feel down at times. It doesn't change the fact that you make people smile and feel good all the time.

*hugs NOPE* I don't know who you are but it doesn't matter. You are deserving of friends, everyone is. I'm sure that you are a good person and you're not useless because nobody here is. But I can understand the feeling. If you want to talk, my inbox is always open. ^^

Reviving because this was a great thread and will be even more helpful with the new forum layout's tagging feature! Dju, I'm so sorry to hear about the aftermath of the storm! ): I hope it wasn't too severe and I'm glad no one was hurt, but I know I would be devastated if my childhood forests were ever destroyed. I hope all the damage can be repaired and you can find some new forests to explore.

Thank you so much, Selm - you're so sweet! We started cleaning up now, we managed to clear the gate. The only thing comforting me is how my dog, Danzka, is having a blast with all the change of scenario, she enjoys sniffing around. XD

Playing Bach's first violin concerto: So much fun. Hand cramp right in the middle of that crazy weird section in the third movement: Not fun at all. *rubs Yoyti's hand in the least creepy way possible* :<
