Carolyn, I'm so sorry you're going through all that right now. Working retail (I presume?) around the holidays sounds awful, and having a sick relative and missing a tool for a hobby definitely do not help. I hope things get better for you soon, or at least that the time you're stuck working and waiting on your binoculars goes by quickly. My thoughts are with you and your relative as well.

That really does mean anyone. But words to a few specific people:

Carolyn - Eek, that is a lot of stress to go through all at once, and the songs just make it worse. =< Hopefully things turn out okay on all of those, or that at least time passes quickly where you want it to pass quickly.

Alyssa - I've been there, that's a really tough road. =< I think that things can get better for you next year, and I hope so too. I know your circumstances make it difficult though, and I'm sorry for those.

Thorn - I'm sorry you no longer have your good job. The ones you describe having to go back to sound awful. =< Hopefully you won't have to be at them long and you'll find another good job. (The former intended to be because of the latter.)

Liou - That is never good, I'm sorry. =< Situations like that are never as straightforward as social guides make them seem, alas. It's a painful experience for all. I'm glad he produced such good stories from such good understanding in his time.

Celestial - Your grandma sounds completely and totally unreasonable and belittling; I'd be super exhausted from all of that too. As for the latter stuff, if perspective on my end will help, you're not an idiot and things would not be better if you disappeared. If you made mistakes, you made mistakes; it's alright, we're human. And I know you always try to work on and learn from them. That's a really good trait. Hang in there; your grandma can't stay forever. And even when she's around, you're definitely not alone in your aggravation towards her.

I still have it after Christmas, just only on a casual basis, which means no more full time. But, thank you. <3 My other job isn't so bad as long as I'm able to stick with the clients I like, which isn't always possible.

Reiqua I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. That is really, really rough, especially for one so young. Sometimes, health problems strike even the best of us without any fault of the person's, except perhaps a bad gene somewhere. That's just how this cruel, unfair world of ours works. Nobody is at fault. It's awful she has to go through that, and you and your family have to watch her suffer. That said, I do wish her all the best. I hope that despite this, she is able to live a rich, fulfilling life with the supplements and that her condition does not get worse.

Best of luck to you, your family and especially your sister. If things get too much, we are always here for you to vent to and offer a shoulder to cry on.

I can relate to this a lot. I take on a lot of ambitious drawing projects (as you probably know) even though I know it will take me a lot of time, even if I do devote my free time to it, simply because I draw slowly. But if you want to do something, don't let your limitations stop you. Even if it takes 5eva, the results will be worth it. And I know I am curious and want to see your art. =D

(And also some of the sadder stuff on top of it. =< ) I hope some of them ease up so that you have a bit more room to breathe and decompress between them.
