I've had pants like that before, with a tiny pocket inside the regular pocket. Not that they were of any use of course, lol

Jeans usually come with a tiny pocket inside/above the right-hand pocket. I might use it to hold a penny or small rock or something like that.

I feel like I’ve heard the history and reason behind that tiny pocket before, but I don’t remember what it was xD I’ll have to look that up.

A brief search tells me that the tiny pocket was for pocket watches. =D
(But I haven't worn anything with that in a long time.)

Ah, that makes sense! I haven't worn regular jeans in a while either haha (I've never found them very comfortable), but giving greater excuse to wear a pocket watch with them boosts my respect for them a little bit more xD
