I've been trying to create a Steam account since yesterday, but I keep getting an error that says "Your account creation request failed, please try again later." ;_; D: Are you trying to do it via the Steam Store, or with the client? If you download and install Steam from that link, running it should allow you to create a new account by following the prompts. There's still a few days left--I hope you get it working! Ooh, thank you! <3 That worked. =D Portal is downloading now. It seems it'll take a while, but that's okay. XD |

... Okay, I'm confused. I heard that the DLC is supposed to download automatically on a computer, but it hasn't for me. Also, after a search, I'm seeing conflicting announcements on the release date: some say today, others say tomorrow (Valve's official site says tomorrow, as does the in-Steam news). Some things suggest that it's only already released for Xbox owners. Someone care to explain? EDIT: Nevermind, updating now. For some reason, it just took awhile. Actually, I think it waited until I tried to launch it a second time. So if it doesn't seem to download for you immediately, try waiting a few minutes. Unless you're a console owner, then remember that you have to go get it yourself. So, anyone want to do Co-op? EDIT: Heh, I heard from someone about this comic that involves singing turrets, and possibly the origins thereof. |

I can actually play Portal 2 on my computer! My boyfriend played with me through the co-op. We didn't realize it at the time, since we thought they were just bonus maps, but we are in the process of playing the co-op expansion. We're at map 4, I think... And it's a bit difficult. ^^; But fun. And I need to replay the Portal 2 single player campaign again, if only for all the achievements. xD Because I know I got them, just not on my Steam account. |
