(also I'm kind of loling at the posts on the first pages about how new people to the franchise love the new ponies and think the old ones look weird - because that is exactly how I felt when I got into Transformers via Animated. It's the complete opposite for me. :D When I saw the newer gen ponies it was like "wut happened to their faces o_o" at first... Then they grew on me. <3 Same with Transformers Animated & Prime. I haven't watched this and I still hold this sort of stubborn resentment towards the ponies for looking nothing like ponies, but dang that Pony Maker is amazing. xD; It was the most sophisticated dollmaker I'd ever seen even without the posing and such, but now, it's just mind-blowing. So I made a pony. xD; If I had a ponysona, this would be it. ...I totally don't though. No. Not ever. >_> |

Decided to check it out and see what the buzz is about. I agree that it's well-written. And cute, but not too 'girly-gross' and whatever else Spike calls some things. I also agree that it reminds me of PowerPuff Girls somewhat.  Partly thought I'd take a look because I'd seen it referenced in some comics. Particularly in this one... I thought I'd throw out links for you guys to look at for the fun of it: Vague, but yeah – In a universe with shapeshifting... – Cooler than bucking apples! – On the subject of wings...Anyway, I've been watching them sporadically because I prefer to do things legally where possible (not to mention things tend to be higher quality, and stop at proper times in the show, if at all), and "The Hub" only shows two full episodes at a time. So far, I've seen Ticket Master, Applebuck Season, Gryphon the Brush-off, and Call of the Cutie. Downloading the first episode off of iTunes now (it's free). I don't really mind watching them out of order. Thinking of looking and seeing if we've got the proper TV station to watch it, though it may be hard trying to watch without getting odd reactions. |

I'm probably Twilight, sans the last part since I never watched the My Little Pony cartoons/had My Little Pony toys or Lauren Faust's cartoons before (but I want to check them out now). I love the show but I'm not completely crazy about it (and I do feel self-conscious looking at MLP toys in the shop. xD) .
