Oh. I totally wanted to say something about the world. (Just a little snippet, though.)
You see, in the original story, the daughter travels to one end of the earth and finds the Sun, then goes to the other end and finds the Moon. Well, since our world isn't exactly flat, I added a fairy sort of world. Instead of "ends of the earth", it's "Ends of the Earth". Something like that. It makes more sense to me that she would be transported into a parallel world/dimension instead of literally walking from one end of the earth to the other.
And do you know how the girl gets to this land? She accidentally steps through a fairy circle. Hooray for mixing in more fairy tale elements! =)

Here's a very rough idea of what typically happens in the Seven Ravens fairy tale:
This man has seven sons, but wishes for a daughter. (Sometimes he's a king, sometimes he's just a man.) One day, he gets his wish.
His baby girl is very weak, though. She needs water, and all the sons go to fetch some. In the Greek version of the story, the sons go to a healing spring. In the German version, they merely go to a well to get water to baptise the girl.
Something happens that prevents the sons from getting home in a timely manner. They drop the pitcher and/or break it, usually. The father gets so impatient that he wishes his sons would turn into ravens. They do.
Some years pass and the girl becomes much stronger. She overhears a couple of people talking about how unfortunate it is that she caused her brothers to go away (or something). She asks her parents about it, and they tell her what happened. Then she goes off on a journey to find them.
She walks to the end of the earth and finds the Sun, but it's too hot to stay there, and the Sun eats children, so she heads in the opposite direction. She walks to the other end of the earth and finds the Moon, but overhears say, "I smell human flesh." Then she finds the Stars, who give her hospitality, and also give her the key to the place she'll find her brothers. This key has been a bats foot, a wishbone, sometimes a drumstick. The place is either a Glass Mountain, or a castle (if the man in the story is a king).
If the key is a bat foot, she merely strokes the foot against the door of the castle/mountain, and it opens for her easily. If the key is a wishbone or a drumstick, she loses it on her way to the castle/mountain. In most cases, she cuts off her little finger and uses that as a key. why the fail.
A dwarf greets her when she enters, and tells her that this is where the seven raven brothers live. She tells him that she's their sister. He sets the table, and she eats a bite off of every plate, and takes a sip from every glass. Then, she hides. If she left home with a gold ring (either her's or her mother's), she puts it in the last glass.
The ravens come home, find that someone has eaten from each of their plates. If there is a gold ring in the story, then one of the ravens (usually the youngest) discovers it and proclaims that their sister is there.
The sister reveals herself, and the brothers turn back into humans. In some versions, the girl individually goes from brother to brother. Her hugs turn them back into their true form.
The end!

Working non-linearly means I can easily go back and add things in that add more visual depth to the story. It's somewhat distracted writing for me, though. Good thing that I'll be editing the script later, so I can make further sense of it.
Maybe I'll toss in some Sun graffiti by the fairy circle that Ame steps through... 'Cause Sun scribbles her symbol on everything. Especially anything of Moon's. She loves to tick him off by scrawling all over his stuff. One time, she shaved the symbol into each of Moon's lunatic wolves. He wouldn't talk to her until their fur grew back properly. XD
What does Moon see in her? I dunno. She lights him up or something.

Unrelated to the writing, but I now have too many Star characters. The main ones seem to be Polaris and Orion, but holy cow. I am designing a bunch of characters based off of constellations and the mythologies that go with them.

With how writing has been going lately, I don't think I'm going to finish this month with 100 pages of script.
So instead, my new goal is to finish the first draft of Seven Ravens, and to finish two full arcs of Timothy Green. If I can manage, I'd also like to script two of the Jackie's Castle shorts.
