I thought I was going to get a lot of writing done today, but all I've done is edit the first three chapters. I guess that's good -- they're far, far, far, far, far better than before. I definitely feel more confident with the story and characters now.
But I'm about 5,000 words behind. Guh. This won't be easy.

Five chapters done. Yay! I'm so happy with how this is shaping up. The best is yet to come, I think. Crossing my fingers.
I feel like I've been writing a lot, but I see that I'm 6,000 words behind now. How did this happen? I need to step up my game.

;_;
Not feeling so good anymore. Sigh. Probably won't write anything today. Maybe tomorrow will be brighter.

Today is the first day that my writing really feels like NaNo writing -- with this chapter, I've just been typing away, following a brief outline I wrote in my notebook during an undergraduate research meeting. The writing isn't as tight as it's been so far, not as stylized or as heavy, but at least the words are appearing on the page. I have no idea how they look, but after struggling so much with the last chapter, I've decided I just can't let myself fall further behind.
Oh, NaNo! I do hope this turns out all right.

I've lost all ability for coherent thought. It's just a dull numbness. >_>
Need. Motivation. So close to being done! I feel like I'm going to collapse as soon as I cross the finish line. Writing has never been this exhausting.
I will desperately need some willing readers and editors to help me with this manuscript come December.

Go Craig! You can do it! I have faith! haha. And I'd be more than happy to read/edit your manuscript, if you want.

You are much closer to the finish line than I am. XD I am in mortal danger of not finishing on time. I'd be happy to read your manuscript too.

Thank you so much, everyone. ^_^ A lot of my other friends have asked me about it, but I trust my NTWF buddies the most in this area. This is the first time I'm going to seriously edit a manuscript, and I'll need all the advice I can get.

Finished. I can't believe it.
I'm taking the rest of today to make a final run-through, and then I'm going to send the manuscript out to as many people as I can. I hope I can make this into something I'm really proud of. I still don't know what to think of it, really. Maybe I'll gain some perspective as I'm rereading today.

Congratulations, Craig!
I'd love to read your NaNo; your finished writing is always gorgeous, and seeing the sort of raw product it starts from (which is no doubt good) would be so neat.
