I think the same thing can be said for all of us. We won't be able to get proper rest until we get back home, so for us it would be better to get home sooner. ... Let's go. Torkie: Alright then. Let's move out!*For the next while or so, everyone's running around, getting The Firebird ready to sail. Before too much longer, they're out to sea. After they get to an area where there's nothing in sight…* Jason: *Standing ready with Sarah nearby* …So… we just wait for the music to start, or what? *Is clearly tense* You can start now.Oh, I know.*a tune starts playing, or at least a melody thereof... a tune that is, indeed, hauntingly beautiful*

We're here now. Ker'siln: ... Anyway, I suppose I should tell you why I have been asking for help. And please, Zero, do not interrupt. ... Ker'siln: To make a long story short... I was studying a new form of magical teleportation, one that might allow one to cross between worlds. I must have made a mistake somewhere, because I found myself here, trapped in the nothingness in-between. All I really want is to be able to return home. *blink* You never told me that. Ker'siln: I tried! But you would not listen! Stubbornly interrupting and closing your ears! ... Ker'siln: At any rate, without any of my notes, my supplies, or even much in the way of ground to stand on, I cannot teleport back on my own. Fortunately for me, my kind has a sort of affinity for the ties that bind, magical or otherwise. We also have affinities for various elements, and mine in particular happens to be darkness. I used the two of these combined to reach out, and was quite glad to discover that there was a traveling ship with an affinity to the worlds.
I tried to use my affinity to reach out and bring those closest to the ship here, but as you can clearly see, it did not work as I intended it to. I needed you to participate in the spell before I could bring you here, but as I said, deaf ears, in more ways than one....

Some were pulled in because of a bond. The distortion of time here made it worse, made it echo. But I at least tried to make sure that you would find each-other. ... Okay, fair enough, I guess. But what's the catch? Ker'siln: Pardon? What are we going to have to do to get home? Serve you for a month? Give you something? Ker'siln: >_> All you will have to do is bring me home. Then you will be free to go. ... Well, I'm going to hold you to that. Ker'siln: <_< Anyway, I do not know if you know it, but I suppose I should at least tell you what my home is like. Many Creatures. Much magic. I be Mythos. Furrae.

We'll be able to take you there!Torkie: …Assuming that the transportation works, anyway.
