...for some reason I misread that as "audible sigh". How the heck did I do that?! We don't need any more crack pairings, thank you!Even Haggoth needs some love. XD *puts a bikini on a random warthog* There we go.

Even Haggoth needs some love. XD *puts a bikini on a random warthog* There we go. Or you could pit a warthog costume on one of the pirates. xD "Y'know, you kinda look like my ex-wife..."

Last year's Valentine's Day went by without any new crackpairs, so we have a backlog to fill. On with the romance, people. Captain's orders. Besides, romantic plot tumors work absolute wonders on plots that're starting to get a little slow and stale.

Plan to post today didn't quite work out, what with this and that and 13-hour transoceanic flights and certain-airports-who-shall-remain-nameless charging money to use interwebs. Hopefully, I'll get a post up within the next 12 hours.

I'm going to be super annoying here, Keng: the first knot that was just described to Strife Fraze and Haggoth is not a square knot. It's the bowline knot. =/

Actually, I'm more interested in why Strife suddenly seems to be with the crew. I'm only using Haggoth. xD; I apologize in advance, but I had to edit that out of your post Keng.

*is currently tempted to post Draco tap dancing to end the emptiness of the guilds* I blame the Month of Lots Of Hasty Writing >> November is always a bane on all writing-related activities, especially when it takes above average effort. *isn't now entirely sure if we should carry on with the everyday filler-type pirate-life throughout November until the writerly types live again, or just move on with the plot once we've taught the fleeters how not to die horribly out at sea*

Which is bad for the people who aren't doing it -_- In a month I'll pretty much forget what is going on and have to reread everything...

I'm interested in continuing learning how to not die horribly at sea. It would be a good way of giving the whole crew a quick few notes of what they can be talking about in their sailing posts. I mean it's no wonder the Weewoo is so clean, we don't know how to sail as was pointed out earlier, so we're just always swabbing decks in our posts.
I'm gonna need some help in lessons as I only know a bit about knots and can't really give direction beyond that.

I'm sure there are a ton of knot-tying videos on YouTube. =) Despite the fact that I know how to tie a number of different knots (thank you, backstage theatre!), I probably couldn't describe in words how to tie them in just words. With the exception of the bowline, probably. On sailing? Wikipedia is a fantastic place to start. But you guys already knew that. XD

Alright, we now have a nice bit of new indepth information on the Weewoo's technical thread. So far just on the masts and cordage, I'll get the sails done during upcoming days. Go read, and learn it all by heart, and consider yourselves lucky because it's still only something like a tenth of what your average sailor needs to know >__>
Al-so, our ship is now officially modelled after the Mary Celeste :3 She was a brigantine of very nearly the same size so I used her basic parameters to pin the Weewoo's basic parameters down.
