Congratulations! For your entry in the Brightvale University issue of the Neopian Times, you have been awarded a Royal Blue Cape. Maybe someday one of your Neopets can wear it to graduation from the University! Today is not that day. Thanks!

(I wonder if this item will be made wearable in the future? *_* ) It's actually a weapon - a blocker. You can check out what it does on the JN Battlepedia here. Looks like a nice addition to my very average BD set. And thank you Droplet, this was a lovely surprise!

Thank you for the cape, Droplet! And I'm tagging you because I want to personally thank you for more than just the gift. I'd also like to thank you for thinking that my very first NT article was worthy of a custom AND quote of the week. I may be over 30 years old, but I was grinning like a child on Christmas when I found out I got quote of the week and a custom. Also, there's something from my article that you just might make you chuckle a bit. Number 7, except for the punishment part, is based on the English professor who encouraged me to start writing, though an offhand comment he made to another professor. He really did tell a guest speaker, "Here at [university name]*, many students think the weekend begins on Thursday. These are the good students who actually come to class on Friday." Then he mentioned something about bringing in cake to reward us. This course was team-taught by the English professor and another professor, who was retiring at the end of the semester. To celebrate his retirement, he brought in a cake to class. He, of course, brought it in on a Friday. *Left general/blank to protect the (not so) innocent

That's twice now I ended up having a series run through a special edition. Thank you for the prize, though, Droplet.
