Doesn't Petrifying Ooze have to use Petrify before you can discard and change a attack?

That's something that's changed in rewording. It was supposed to be after you roll dice to see if paralysis stops you from attacking or not. Otherwise you could sit there, never attack, and be totally immune.
You can go back and change your last turn, if you want. =3

As long as you neer have to roll a paralysis check even under new wording for the card ... you see what I mean. Which means we'll need a new idea for making the card work. ^^;

It's only there so that you don't throw away an energy, and then find out you can't attack. Calm down, I'm not looking to argue here. Just suggest a new wording for the card that isn't "after paralysis checks" for the reason you've stated above.
