Steampunk Inventing Contest In the prosperous city of Brassport, where steam is the vapour of life, many hundreds of citizens flock to the giant Aerodrome at the city’s center to see the greatest inventors from every walk of life battle it out for the ultimate prize. Fame. Fancy yourself a Steamhead with a fantastic new invention? Why not present it here. The entry is open to anyone within the city of Brassport and may be submitted using any medium you desire. You could do some art, write about your invention or even make a model in real life and take a photo of it. Just a few rules- Whatever medium you use to present your invention, you must have a small description of what it is and what it does.
- Since the Guildverse is high fantasy, nothing too technologically advanced. Use Victorian steampunk as a guideline. (That means no steampunk robots!)
- Try to make it as believable as possible. The more the better.
The deadline is June 20th so you had better get those creative juices flowing. You can also do collaborations if you'd like but remember that the person who posts the finished product must include the names of all those who contributed. Judging will be done in the form of a poll and the winner will recieve an art request from the lovely Shade! So, go get inventing!

Toshiro, the former member of the NNPC Squad, now assistant to Gil Maxwell, walks into the Aerodrome and sets up a display on a table. What I have worked on is a Shuriken Wrist Shooter. You strap the shooter around your arm, fit the pull strap around your finger and lock it to the bottom of the shooter (the under arm). In the pull strap is a thin but strong chain and a strong rubber band that attaches to the launcher. When you pull the chain on the bottom of the under arm back, and let go. It pulls the launch pad with the loaded shuriken back, and when let go, will shoot it. You load 10 shurikens into their holder, where they weigh down a spring. When a shuriken is launched, the spring loosens to raise the next shuriken to be shot. You pull the strap again to allow the shuriken to slide into the launcher. The gear system helps move most of the things in the shooter more smoothly. When pulled the launcher+shuriken is pulled back, and will move gears to open the protective top for a easier launch.

Well since everyone kinda forgot about this, I guess we'll give y'all an extension. I'm not sure how long to give it but maybe try another week and see? Draco, if you want to take your entry back and use the extra time to improve on it then feel free. =D
I realize there're a lotta other things going on, but you can actually do this really quickly and simply. :3 Give it a shot!

Well I only have another 3 days to really improve XD So I'm going to stick with that. Mainly since it made my head hurt trying to figure it out in the first place... I was ready to start making a real life example, but remembered I have nothing to make it with and no extra money XD
