So, Strife, question: just how far do your powers actually reach? I mean, we've been constantly moving away from the original battle scene for the last what, a month now. The Underdeep boss hasn't even reached the actual city yet, but is within cannonshot, as in, less than half a mile for us. Which puts the Weewoo pretty far out onto the horizon; two, three miles from the original city hall. It'd take some helluva power range and hand-eye coordination to still actually do something noticeable around the ship, and it doesn't even seem to be taking you a single bit of effort.

I was kinda confused about the distance, to be honest. xD; Now that you clear it up, it is a bit of a stretch. (It's also nice to know that they're no longer within viewing distance, so Strife could play the "pirates are already dead" card on Ikkin when she finds him again.) The way I see it, though, is that the Deep has "connected" itself with Strife in a way that it's basically using him and his powers as an extra limb. That's also probably the reason he was capable of oozifying the entire continent in the first place. Thing is, I'd want him to -do- something about the attack on his Underdeep master while still staying behind so that Ikkin, Kovaran, and everyone else on the ground won't be forced to follow him if he pursues the pirates directly. Hmm... |

Re-reading it, I think I understand how loud he's talking. But I need a confirmation that he's in hearing range, because it'll affect how my character will react.
