Rider's blanket fell on Ginz' head, covering her face. It smelled of sea salt. Ginz liked that smell, it reminded her of the old times, and of her current home. She took it off and handed it back to Rider. "Nor have you," she replied, smiling. "Rider, you don't know how happy am I to see you again!" She hugged her back. Unbenownst to the little reunion, a small wooden raft floated by. A small woman with dark hair and almond eyes was leaning against a flimsy mast. She looked up from the notepad in her hand, and chewed her pen as she watched the dock pass by... "Drat!" She suddenly realized that she missed her stop. Carefully, she tucked the pen behind her ear and placed her manuscripts into a leather pouch at her side, then leaned over the side of the raft and attempted to use her hands to row herself back to the dock. It didn't work. So, the small asian woman sat back and let her raft float. Her pillow case sail would bring her back to the dock, no worries. ((forgive me if I start writing in present tense. >.>; that's the tense I've been writing in, lately.))

((I'mma assume that this is modern times or if not somewhere where a taxi can be godmoded. =D)) A taxi pulled up on the street behind the dock, and a slim woman got out. A red scarf flapped from her neck, but other than that, she wore mostly dark colors: black dress pants, teal turtleneck sweater. She leaned back into the car to pass money to the driver, and then shut the door. Then, adjusting her glasses self-consciously, Fj0rd set off toward the dock and the other forumers.

[glow=red,2,300]((Yesh, this is modern times. Rider's just a miserable godmodder who likes to make a flashy entrance.))
"This is Aerisa," Rider said, gesturing to the crazed Frenchie who she had become aquainted with on the boat ride over.
She saw the raft, but didn't recognize the woman on it. Squinting, she tried to make out her face. "Psycho?"
A taxi door slammed shut, and Rider turned around. "Is that? It can't be Fj0rd!"[/glow]

((Well, we all knew that already, but... *ducks* ^^)) Fj0rd approached them cautiously, smiling nervously. "Hello," she said when she was closer, tucking her hands behind her back. "Um..."

Another ship - or, more accurately, a boat - chugged up to the harbor. Elcie was in a panic. She'd missed the ferry and had to hire this old wreck from an ancient fisherman. Staring out at the shore, she noticed the commotion centered around Rider, Patrick, Ginz, and the other forumers.
"Ten years..." Elcie fidgeted nervously. What should I say? Will it be like old times again? With a tremor that ran through the dented metal hull, the boat hit a post and its owner tied it to the dock. Taking a deep breath, Elcie jumped to shore.
((yeah it's bad, I'm having writer's block at the moment.))

Si Co could see figures in the distance. "Hm, looks like Rider beat me to it, yet again." She waved, but everyone was too busy glomping each other to notice. The small asian woman was right. Half an hour later, the wind blew her tiny little raft all the way back to the dock, and she skipped daintily onto the platform. "Well!" She cried with great exasperation. "This is what I get for suggesting that we reunite somewhere strange?" She tucks her hair back behind her ear and takes out her pen. Quietly, she waited for someone to notice her. While she was at it, she would continue writing her newest play, "10 Years Later". She already knew which Forumer she'd base her protagonist on... ((Ah - never RP'd before, forgive me ^^ )

He ran over to the girl, content as can be, and gave her one of the very first actual glomps. Of course, it wasn't smart thinking on Patrick's part to tackle Elcie right near the edge of the dock, or perhaps it was just that he was used to the water?

Cyr looked up just in time to see her daddy, Patrick, fall into the water. He was accompanied by Elycien. Luckily neither cat had morphed as of yet. Cyr, as a dolphin, caught both humanoids neatly on her back and performed a backflip onto the dock. The startled crowd watched in awe as the two glompers fell off her back on their feet, and as Cyr uncurled from dolphin-form into a human. "Whee!" she said. "That was fun! Hi everyone! Hi Daddy, hi mama. . . OMG, RIDER!" Cyr tackled Rider.

"HEY! I exist too!" Aerisa raised her fist in the air, before sighing... "Where are MY glomp..." She crossed her arm, lowering her head.

"Ohmigod, it's that crazed Frenchie!" shrieked Cyr, dragging Rider, Patty Pat Pat, and Ginzymama over to Aerisa's right arm. With a huge effort, they were all thrown into a group hug.

Elycien laughed, throwing her arms around her old friends. Didn't seem like anything had changed between them in the decade of absence. This was good.

"Of course that's Aerisa!" said Ginz, recognizing her, more that anything, for her eccentricy. She hugged her too.
Ginz heard Rider say a name of a NTWFer she remembered well. "Psycho, where?" As though answering her own question, Ginz spotted the Asian women in the raft. She waved at her, but she wasn't sure if she saw her.
Fj0rd approached the group, her hands behind her back. "Fj0rd!" Ginz exclaimed. She was more and more excited everytime. So many people showing up already. With a huge smile on her face, she hugged her.
At Patrick's shiek of "Elycien!" Ginz turned around to see Elcie had arrived too. She wanted to greet her and hug her too, but Patrick ran over to her and glomped her. Ginz saw amused as they both fell into the water. She had to suppress a giggle, and ran towards them to see if they needed any help.
They didn't, though. The had all the help they needed. Cyr, in dolphin form took care of it. "Hey Cyr!" she called, as the now woman tackled Rider. Cyr had called her mama. More memories filled Ginz' thoughts. She was somewhat nostalgic, but incredibly happy.

((*Counts* One, two, three... Three new posts while I was typing mine? I can't keep up! XD))
Not knowing exactly how, she ended up in a group hug with Aerisa, Cyr, Rider and Patrick. It was like in the good old times. They were all adults by now, but no one really acted like it. Not when they were all together.
As Elcie was now out of the water, Ginz took the chance to greet her properly and hug her too. The woman was laughing happily, and Ginz couldn't help but to start laughing too.

Fj0rd grinned rather sheepishly as Ginz hugged her and ran off; she hung back from the others, feeling a little bit of an outcast. Well, she hadn't seen them in ten years, she rationalized it to herself. No wonder she felt a little awkward...
