Certainly you get this response everywhere around here, though innkeepers seemed much more eager to let the dwarf, with his fancy clothes, inside... you eventually find an inn... the 'Blade of Ages: Inn and Ale' which welcomes you warmly. A halfling grins at you from across the room. A few armored humans give you an odd-glance with their chainmail or piecemeal armor, their cloaks covering their frames. A couple of elves look at you... and...
...
You both notice that after waiting in line (the female half elf innkeeper is having a very long conversation with a male gnome ... with a lute) a person from that 'rich prissy' inn.. is here, hiding non-chalantly in the corner.
The innkeeper finally notices you. "I apologize for the wait, what can I offer you fine sirs?"

I tip my hat to her. "Aye good lady, me friend and I would like rooms for the night if ye have any to spare." I lean in closer. "And a little extra coin for ye for a table in the corner over there." I point discretely towards the table in the corner where the person from the other inn is sitting.

((No, I'm not my character is auctually not like what I'm behaving like. I'm a Elven Wizard. Heheh nuetral. ^^ She is a bit of an insane one, and looks down on warriors, thinks that swinging a sword doesn't take much skill. She's not really for anything, she looks out for herself first and foremost and is a bit of a unpredictable variable. ^^ She enjoys being random. She's a bit of a daredevil though secretly afraid of the dark.))

They are relatively low, but slightly high for dwarven standards, the furniture is thicker than normal... perhaps to work with armored warriors... Not much furniture sticks out besides the fireplace. The man in the corner all of a sudden looks your way and begins to hustle out of the inn, tossing a glance back at you. |
