OOC: Mindy: The Dragontail elf exudes a conjuration (healing) aura and a few other auras flash that you can't readily identify, she must be a spelcaster as well, the Silver Elf also has magic auras, a fainter aura, so not as spellcasterish. kiirnodel.falquan.net/NTWF^---- go there to see your character sheets-ish, I have yet to edit some of it, I think just the names, I'm lazy and will eventually get to it. Some with the assistance of others have managed to break the shackles and the wall collapses not after more than a few of you pressed against it. "Kyap? Flel lel varsh vhek!!!" you hear from around the wall, the dust clears and you see three figures staring at you with large orange eyes. They were outfits similar to yours, but have turtle shells strapped to their arms, maybe shields. Their reptilian bodies are covered in scales and each holds a small spear. Their scaly tails wag for a few seconds before one snarls at the five of you. Their miniature alligator like faces look very hostile, but the two foot high creatures don't look very intimidating. "KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA" and they rush at you! Kobold Kobold Colm Kobold Ru'ain Caria Sylvia Lucius The first kobold charges Caria with his spear and thrusts it at her, barely grazing her side, streaking her tattered shirt with blood. [1 point of damage] The next one lunges at Colm who almost evades the attack but he gets stuck in his midsection. [1 point of damage] Colm, w00t. Go. Combat, these creatures are quite small, thus you can assume they can not deal much damage (don't assume this later, but for right now, its a pretty safe assumption)
Actions: Each round you have a standard action, a move action, a swift action and many free actions.
An example of what you can do in one round:
Standard: Attack Kobold
Move: Move to next Kobold
Swift: Nothing
Free: Shout "Die"
Swift actions are currently out of the question, when they are finally required I'll introduce them:
There are also full-round actions, these take up both your move AND standard actions.
Examples of full round actions:
Flurry of Blows
Summon Nature's Ally
Charge
Run
Examples of standard action:
Cast cure light wounds, most spells for that matter
Attack
Examples of move actions:
Moving, likewise you can use your standard action to move as well.
Channeling a spell into your sword [3rd level or higher spellswords]
Drinking a potion
Drawing a weapon
Examples of free actions:
Using the shift ability of a shifter
speaking

I try to give the Kobold that attacked me a kick, since they're short it should be around the head section.
Then I jump back to get a little distance between me and it.
"Darius Tuthrejj is with me, foul creature!"

Colm decided kicks the creature and would have probably knocked him into unconsioucness had he not ducked T: This next part shows what the die rolls were[d20 = 4, 4 + 2 = 6, miss] T: Next time, you might try flurry of blows for an increased number of attacks.The last kobold charges Ri'aen and misses horribly. Ri'aen your turn. T: Yeah, wait your turn, declare actions, its free for all out of combat though |
