Ren picked up a stone and began tossing it in the air and catching it over and over.

((Whoot! A whole page of waiting around!))
The first line in Aliam's chip doodle was begging to take shape.

"Well, let's go. Time is of the essence. We can only hope that TK will meet back with us on Tatooine." Paolie says, then begins the takeoff cycle. Repulsorlifts warming up and calibrating...

Ren hopped into his own ship and started up the engines, flipping on various switches.

Aliam followed their example, and began fliking switches.
Please don't malfunction, please don't malfunction, please don't malfunction she though to herself, reffering to her weapons as the engins reved up.

To make up for the lack of rear repulsorlifts, the T-Wing's engines turned to face upward(as in the front is now facing up), and so, with very little effort, the T-Wing took off. The engines slowly turned back forwards, and he disengaged the repulsorlifts as he shot out of Echo Base.

Ren's own ship lifted off, and he followed Poalie's ship into the air.

Aliam followed Ren. But not directly behind Ren. That would be dangerous if her weapons malfunctioned again.

While flying, Ren turned on the Comm channel to Poalie. "So, you said that you were an Imperial, right?" said Ren through the device. "Why'd you decide to join the Rebellion?"

While flying, Ren turned on the Comm channel to Poalie. "So, you said that you were an Imperial, right?" said Ren through the device. "Why'd you decide to join the Rebellion?" "I decided that after the Battle of Yavin, the Empire might not be as secure as once thought. Besides, the Emperor is getting too power-hungry, and same with Darth Vader. Just our luck a Rebel Cruiser attacked during the defection, helped it go a little smoother. Also, it ended the Dragon class Star Destroyer test project before it really started, same with the Shadow class Shuttle project. I- well, we decided to get out while we could. I defected with 3 others, one died, one stood up for my defection when I was under scrutiny, and I didn't hear from the other."

"Ah," said Ren. "Well, it was brave of you to leave, at least. Especially since the Empire will kill anyone who even seems to be with the Rebellion."

"Yea, they can be a little overly paranoid at times. Not that they don't have reason to be though.... Hey, would anyone mind giving me the hyper space coordinates for tatooine? I haven't got it on my map. My computer keeps deleting stuff."

"Sure, it's 9901174," said Ren. (Heh, that's the number I punch in in the cafeteria when buying food.)

"Thanks." she called, "Enter that into the coordinates." she called up to R22 unit. ((I've decided that shall calls it that because she made it up of many diffrent parts from a bunch of diffrent dead droids. And when you add up the numbers of all the droids, it equals 22.)) "Tell me when to hit the gas."

They had just broken off from the atmosphere and were now in space. "One... Two... Three... Now we're in range. Punch it!" said Ren. He flipped a switch and entered hyperspace.
