Star Wars RP (Still Room for More Members.)

((I wouldn't do that. The purpose for them taking control of the Destroyer is only to distract Vader's Armada from destroying the Echo Base ships. I know that they fire an Ion Cannon an get away, but their role is simply to damage the disabled ships.))

The Star Destroyer and Rebel attack group came out of hyperspace two standard hours later. "Launch all fighters" Armada ordered on the Rebel attack group's freuency as he bolted down the corridors to his waiting fighter.

He climber up the X-wings ladder and into the cockpit, smashing his helmet onto his head as the ladder was pulled away and his canopy closed. He quickly went through the preflight checklist looking at his computer display that translated the replies of his R2 unit. He sighed and rubbed his head, sometimes the droid could be annoyingly pessimistic, as he was being at the current moment.

"Well Shooter." Armada said, "Let's get the bucket of bolts out." he frowned at his droids sarcastic response. "Will you stop it." the Rebel commander sighed, "We aren't gonna be space vapor now shut up." he went to the squadron frequency. "Knights, are ya ready?" he asked.

"Ready Lead." came the voice of Knight Four over the comm. "Let's skim a Destroyer."

"That's the spirit." Armada said as he and his squadron flew out of the hanger of the Star Destroyer and into the vacuum of space.

Soon, Ren and the rest of the small group had reached the surface on Hoth. Ren climbed out of his ship. "What's are status?" he asked a rebel general.

"We're still preparing our defense," answered the general. "It's good to see you guys. We could use you. Zander, I want you to be in charge of a small defense squad of footsoldiers."

Ren was surprised; he had never been put in charge of a squad before. He nodded.

The general then turned to Aliam. "You and Rydbuck will share a snowspeeder," he said. "You'll be the pilot, he'll be the gunner."

Six Imperial Star Destroyers dropped out of hyperspace about a kilometer in front of Armada's X-wing, then, only about a half second behind them, the Super Star Destroyer Executor appeared.

"Oh crap!" Armada said into his comm, "They've got Vader, that's his flagship." he shook his head, this made an already near impossible escape even harder. The Super Star Destroyer was eight kilometers long, eight times as long as a regular Destroyer.

"Boss, how we gonna beat that?" one of his wingmates asked.

"I don't know Trigger." he said, "I guess we'll just have to see if that nickname you gave me if true."

"I was hoping we'd never have to find out Phoenix." Trigger said.

"Well, we will." Armada said. "Knights, trios now. Attack pattern Dagger. Target Super Destroyer."

The Black Knights arrowed towards the Executor, knowing that they had a fair chance of becoming space dust on this mission.

[OG Loc]

"Sir, we've just picked up Rebel ships on our long-range sensors, but they're not coming from the planet," said a commander on the bridge of the Executor.

"Open fire," replied the Admirel on the bridge.

"Also, we've picked up a Rebel transport escorted by two X-Wing craft from the planet," said the officer.

"Good. Our first catch of the day."

The back turrets of the Super Star Destroyer fired at the Black Knights.

PACC-2, being not much more than a shipboard computer, flew the QIE Fighter away from the main battles, and made sure it could escape if bad came to worst.

"Hurry up, Aliam!"Paolie shouted as he got into the gunner's seat of the single snowspeeder not already in combat.

((Sorry for being so incredibly late, I was terribly busy, mainly with Star Wars stuff and nerd stuff, of course. In case you haven't noticed, I've often misspelled Paolie as "Poalie" which is probably how I first spelled it anyways. Just so you know.))

(Oh, so the version in that post wasn't a typo, but a correction of many typos. I now know what Paolie's true name is. I guess I gotta get used to it now.)

Ren reached his squad. He asked a soldier what their status was. "We've got At-At's and At-St's coming in. Commander Skywalker's come up with a great plan to fire the toe cables and trip the At-At's. We need to bring down the At-At's that are down if the snowspeeders don't, plus neutralize any footsoldiers that try to get into the base."

"Follow me," said Ren. "We'll go after the At-St's. Let's move!"

[Bacon]

Aliam quickly got the snowspeeder off the ground.((I'm assuming it's still okay to control this character when you need to.))

(Yeah, I'm okay with that. If Keng doesn't like it, we can stop doing that.)

(I guess I have to continue the roleplay now...)

"Welcome to the party," said Luke Skywalker through the comm to Poalie and Aliam. "We're working on a plan to bring down the AT-AT's using the tow-cables."

Meanwhile, on the ground, Ren and his squad were running towards the battle, occasionally diving to the ground to avoid stray fire. Soon, they were very close to a two-legged AT-ST. It turned and fired at the squad. Most of the squad, including Ren, managed to dive into a nearby trench to avoid fire. However, others were not so lucky. Ren was beginning to wonder whether the deaths of a few of his soldiers already was a sign of bad leadership on his account.

"Get the photon missle launchers ready!" he shouted. "And get a few thermal detonaters! We're hitting this baby with everything we've got! Now MOVE!" Two squad members had photon missle launchers. They had them at the ready. Others took out thermal detonators from their belts. "Steady!" yelled Ren over the blaster fire they heard from all sides. "Wait for the signal, then pop up and hit it!"

The Black Knights flew on, avoiding the Turbolaser blasts with surprising ease. But this only served to disturb Armada. "Something's not right." He said. "They should have fired a blocking wall that only would have allowed us to go back."

"What do you mean, Lead." Trigger asked.

"I mean they're trying to get us with beams, I've never seen the Executor miss snubs on its first volley." Armada sighed, "Guys, low and fast, we're not hitting the towers on this one, repeat we're not hitting the towers on this one."

"Read ya Lead." Three said, "Let's show these Imps what we're made of."

"Indeed." Armada said to himself as he zoomed in for his attack run on the SSD. His flight destroyed seven turbos easily, but they had hundreds more to go, more likely thousands on this ship. 'Why, oh why did this Armada have to have the Executor in it?' Armada thought as his squadron went on their attack run.

(Forgive me, Heero. On your siggy, it says that quote is from A New Hope. It is actually from Empire Strikes Back.)

Suddenly, Ren heard even more stomps coming toward them. Ren peaked up out of the trench just slightly to see to more AT-ST's coming to meet the first one. As Ren hastily got his head fully inside the trench, he cursed loudly.

"Okay, boys," he said. "We've just run into a bit of a complication. Divide your firepower to all three walkers when I give you the signal-" Ren hastily divided the three groups up, then, getting out his own thermal detonator, waited for the perfect moment to come out and attack.

((Yeah I noticed that error two days ago, but I didn't have the time to change it.))

"Knights, watch your tails!" Armada said as turbolaser bolt went by his cockpit. "They're bound to send out TIEs sooner or later." He sighed, "Has the small fleet we brought done anything yet?"

"They're attacking one of the Destroyers, but it's not looking good for our side." Five's voice came over the comm.

"Alright guys, we can pull out now, otherwise we may not have a chance to." Black Knights Leader said.

"Not a chance, Lead." one of the Knights said, "We're doin' as much damage as possible."

"Very well, I just hope Shooter isn't right about this one." he said, praying that no TIEs would launch until after they'd pulled out.
