Imagine how much of a jerk judge I could be. If I wanted I could give everyone -125 points right now for not posting anything, even if it did just start a hour ago. But I won't Just posting to say I check daily.

Sariphe looked around sheepishly, his wings tucked close behind his back, his face glistening with perspiration. He twitched at every sound, even jumping in shock when a Slord oozed down the path upon which he stood. There, just a few meters away, was his target.
Coughing slightly, Sarn approached Draco, hoping that no one else was around. Tentatively, the Feberi tapped the Guilympic Judge on his shoulder.
"Erm... " Unsure what to say, Sarn simply held up a bag of Shinies with a large, cliche '$' sign on it and grinned cheekily, hoping it would work.
((You don't actually have to do RP style posts for this, but I like to. ^_^))

((I like RP posts. Also, I have a backstory-reason for why Aly likes to cross-dress. >.< I swear.)) Quiet as a whisper, a young boy slid into a spot near Huntress, tugging his cap a little more over his face and flicking a short wave of auburn bangs to one side. At least he'd learned something, living on his own for several years. For one, most people couldn't tell a 'he' was a 'she'. "Hello," Aly said quietly to the pirate. From a bag at his--her--side, the mage pulled a small pendant, a shiny emerald set into etched gold, with simple golden links forming a thin and elegant chain. From the bag also came a pair of sapphire earrings, a small but finely-made dagger, and a fine-quality bottle of rum, along with a small scrap of paper (with "Mages" written on the underside). "I have more where this came from," she said in a voice lower than that she normally spoke with, "though I'd be willing to trade it for some points. You can find what to do with it for yourself." The disguised girl smiled. Getting up for a moment, the girl stretched and drank from her own freshly-attained bottle of fruit juice. Much as she would have liked it, alcohol made her run crazy, and a crazy fire mage with access to a a lot of energy and flammable liquid was never a good idea. [ Was the disguise and serious atmosphere necessary?] Lika asked her, the large cat padding along her side. "No, but it's fun." Aly spied a fellow mage and strode over to talk to her. "Celestial, right? I don't think we've talked much before." If ever, she added mentally. She'd been away from Mage Manor for a while now. "What say we work together on this? Try to get all the judges in the Mages' favor?" [ So you do have a decently-smart idea sometimes.] "Hush, Lika. No one likes a sarcastic feline."

Draco eyes the Knight handing him a bag. He than eyes the bag, and takes it.
"25 points, because I always wanted a bag with a '$' symbol on it."
He than places the bag into his coat where it disappears into one of it's bottomless pockets.

The first thing Esmeralda Wip did was explore the area with a naive, innocent curiosity. She skipped about from one thing to another quickly, almost as if she was looking for something in particular.
Once she had probed the area, she turned her attention to the reason why she was supposed be there. This place is so busy, she thought. Her eyes caught another Ninja, Draco.
Wip walked over and poked him in the shoulder. "Hi! You're Draco, right? I'm Wip; Esmeralda Wip," she said, "You asked me about my karambits a while ago."
She grinned sweetly up at him fingering the handle of the curved dagger on her shoulder. "I need some points, and if you want, later I could show you how to use them. They're great for when you need to wound or weaken someone, without killing them." She paused for a moment with a befuddled expression. "I don't know why you'd want to do that, but they're great daggers either way."
She smiled innocently. "It would be fun! I might even be able to make you a pair, if I was able to get the tools I need. My mother taught me how to make a few different kinds of weapons."
Her head cocked and her eyes grew large in a puppydog expression. "Please, sir?"

Zylaa sauntered into the room carrying a black leather satchel, surveyed the judges, and addressed the room.
"Evening, sir, lady, cap'n," she began. "I was wondering if I could interest you in some of these quality items?" she opened the satchel, revealing a mass of stuff that practically blinded the viewer with its glitter. She drew out first a crystal goblet, gem encrusted. "Highest quality, you won't be able to find those for sale anywhere. A priceless item, for just some points in trade... you'll never make a better deal in your life. And there's more where that came from." She rummaged in the bag, dragging out item after item. "Opal, gold, silver, diamond, necklaces, platters, frames, pencil holders--" Zylaa paused for a moment to consider who on earth would create a gold-plated pencil holder, but continued, "All for your perusal. And remember, I have a horde of weasels attracted to anything shiny. There is plenty more where this came from."
She did her best to divy up the piles of priceless gems equally, and if it appeared to any of the watching eyes that Hunty's pile was slightly larger, well, the Olympics were temporary, and Guilds were forever.

Draco stares at Wip for a few moments.
"I have plenty of ways to wound a foe, but some practice with a new kind of weapon never hurts. 30 points, and 5 more points if you stop the puppydog expression. Someone with a weapon like a karambit shouldn't give that expression, it's creepy. However it is a perfect look to give a enemy before you attack them. Never expect it."
Draco than turns his attention to Zylaa.
"A horde of shiny attracted weasels? Forget the shinies, you get 20 points for the weasels alone!"

Hunty, who'd been disturbed in the middle of a very important and crucial session of Doing Nothing In Particular - something she'd been very much falling behind in during the recent hectic months - turned to look at Aly with a disapproving expression best described as 'this had better be good'. Luckily, it was good.
"Hnmwell," she said, taking the jewels and examining them critically. Somewhere from the depths of her soul emerged an eager trace of feminine vanity, only to get brutally overrun by business thinking. "Bloody Mary?"
The meepit, who'd been blissfully sunbathing on her shoulder, opened one eye. "Mrm?"
"Whatchu think?"
The pendant and earrings got a critical stare. "Loud."
"Loud, how?"
"Loud as in, look at me, I'm a humble pirate captain wearing high-class jewellery I couldn't possibly have obtained via legal means," the meepit said, scratching his nose. "And there's magic rubbed off on 'em. Might be hard to sell."
Hunty seemed to reach a decision. "Well, I reckon that's some fifty points for the shmuck. And keep that bottle. We got nothing to do with it."
***
Zylaa's offer - big shiny offer - was a mite more problematic. Mostly because the feminine vanity, that'd managed to get up in the meantime, was again brutally trampled by the nagging will to ask the weasel-girl how exactly she'd comy by a treasure the Cap'n knew nothing about, and why said Cap'n hadn't gotten a 10% cut of it like she usually did.
...not that she usually enforced the rule...
...and it was probably well-invested this way...
...it's a big shiny pile of gems, why was she asking questions?
Yeah, thirty points sounded about fair for all this.

Celestial walked in cheerfilly and looking as if she did not have a care in the world, even though she was aware of how incredibly late she was. But then again, it always paid to save the best for last.
She looked innocent but not too innocent so that she did not attract attention. Every single future evil overlord knew and loved that skill. Long nights were spent perfecting the Walk, the Expression and the Gestures (the days were spent perfecting the Evil Laugh so not to wake people up) that go with it. It was a risky strategy but usually only the most and least suspicious were targeted. The trick was blending in.
To cut a long story short, she walked to the Judge's table like she was just part of the crowd, a bag in hand. It was a very nice bag, one which looked the same empty or full. It was a good find on the flea market. In the bag though, was a portion of her very own hoard, divided into three. There were lots of gold and silver coins, all untraceable as well as several shiny gems for each judge worth a small fortune. Finally, there were three vials of dragon's blood which, unless blood from a rare creature that could kill you a thousand ways before lunchtime had suddenly become widely available, was worth a good price. Best of all, there was nothing that would tie the treasure back to something illegal. The Pouches of Holding were worth something too or they could be used for more practical things.
"Hello good judges" she said with a smile, holding the bag in front of her as if shy. Opening it, she distributed the pouches to each judge, looking over them to make sure there was equal amounts of dragon's loot in each pouch. All the while she made friendly conversation with them, just as somebody would with a friend who is also your boss. Now those were rare conversations.
Once the pouches were distributed and stowed away, Celestial waved them all goodbye and walked off. As soon as she was far enough away, she let out a huge sign of relief. That was not easy. Hopefully they will like her little gifts. They weren't too gaudy and were fairly practical.

Draco blinks as he is handed a bag by Celestial and she leaves. He looks in the bag.
"Some loot and... A vile of juice? I'll drink that later. 25 points."
((No he won't really drink it... maybe >.>))
---- 9/15/09
Draco stands up on a table.
"Attention. The next person who attempts to bribe me will instantly get 50 points! Come on people, keep on bribing us!"

Sarn whined as, from the shadowy corners, he watched the other players present their glorious riches to the judges. Feberi didn't value treasures and had few items of their own, so he couldn't hope to outbid them that way, but, just as he was disadvantaged in the area of material wealth, so he was advantaged in... other ares.
He waited until everyone else had gone and then sidled up to Shade, a cheeky grin on his face as he slipped his arms around her waist and hugged her warmly with his wings.
"Shadelet..." he whispered sweetly in her ear, then turned her around and held her at arms length, singing to her softly with a ^_^ face. "You're so very beautiful, you know, lovely one."

Shade looked distastefully at the bag the dragon-mage handed to her. Really. Trying to bribe a knight bound to honor? She looked at her fellow judges, setting the bag aside. Whatever was in there could be dealt with later. ((Celest gets no points from Shade. =D))
As she turned back, she felt warm arms slip around her waist. Shade flushed, turning to see who dared hug her. A golden wing passed her face and she smiled. "Hello, Sarn. You flatter me needlessly." She turned in the Feberi's embrace, looking at his pale features. "What need does a demon have for an angel's flattery, after all?"

"Ah, but even demons must feel the tug of human emotions, no? And even if you do not, it is enough that loving you brings joy to my own self."
The Feberi pulled her closer and kissed her cheek gently, whispering sweet words of adoration to Shade. "You know what else would make me happy?"
