I was a bit iffy about it too, but there was quite a bit of interest. If it does drop off, I'll remove it's scoreboard, though not sure what to do about said pretty logos. ^^ Couldn't you make two versions of each logo? In your case it's really just shuffling symbols around on the rope, and Michelle's... *eyes it* would be a mite more complicated, but mostly just the issue of copypasting. *luffs her Plan Bs* Mine'd be just as complicated, since I just started learning, don't use layers, and only have GIMP. >_> But certainly, I'll see what I can do. The seven-guild logos are good enough to be able to judge, and perhaps the winner could then create a six-guild logo? |

Mine can be easily edited to fit six guilds. I'd have to redraw it, but that should take about...an hour, maybe two? (Unless you want it to be really pretty and symmetrical, which will never happen. XD)
It'd make the angles easier to figure out.

I say don't change the logos. Even if it does fizzle out, there's no harm in putting up a statue of the adored king that held his position for about a week. Remeber the inspirational speeches, forgetting the fact he did nothing!

We've had quite a few new guild proposals in the past, and apart from the current six (it started out with two) the rest didn't get anywhere. Whereas the current six have literally gone through fire and flames. Maybe I'm a guild purist like that (okaaay, no maybe there x'D) but I don't see a point in dragging along a guild-in-name that, judging by the current situation, will very possibly just turn into another fleeting fad in a line of past fleeting fads. |

(FYI, I've not abandoned the Thieves Guild idea. I just want to wait until I have the time to devote to really expanding it before it starts creation... right now I have too much stuff distracting from that. And whether it's in the initial logo or not doesn't matter to me. The US didn't create new flags every single time a state was added, after all)

Also right now a lot of people are missing. So the fact the Steam Punk guild is going no where, is the fact most of them are missing >.> To tell the truth, right now might not have been the best time to propose a new guild, right when school was starting for most people. I have school, but I also have no life, so I'm online all the time  Especially after I had a long period of absence. |

I'm sorry, but I think I'm going to have to drop out of this. I signed up to participate before realizing quite how much work I'd gotten myself into over here in real life...hopefully, I can get it all balanced out soon, but that doubtlessly won't be by the time these logos are due =P

I didn't expect to finish so quickly. And no this is not rushed at all why do you ask? >>  I decided to depict the guilds as the seperate tongues of a flame as they have the energy and power of fire and like fire they are always changing. Each of the tongues is different from all the others just like the guilds are different from each other yet they reach the same height, showing that all the guilds are equal in their greatness. The bright cores are the core members, as well as things to make it look nicer. =3 The colours are pretty straightforward. Michelle, I used your logo for inspiration in most some places. I hope you don't mind. ^^;; Silver: The Steampunk Guild- steam and metal but also a desceptive fragility. Black: Spacefleet- the eternal blackness of space as well as the unknown which their science has to conquer. Purple: Mages- representing magical power and a healthy mix of fighting spirit and wisdom. Plus Kat's robes. xD Red: Pirates- The lust for life, the vibrancy and the love of shiny things as well as their fighting spirit. Gold: Mercenaries- Fairly straightforward. xD *brick'd* Not only money but being adaptable and bendable, just like gold. Grey: Ninjas- The grey of their robes as well as the smoke of their smoke bombs. They are masters of not standing out in their environment. =3 Blue: Knights- Peace and honour as well as the blue shine of their steel armour. (>> I can dream of pretty electric blue knight's armour) I decided to alude to the Guilylimpics somehow with the three medals. Gold silver and bronze, with the green spreading into the heart of the guild being the ribbons that they are hung off of as well as sowing the competitive (and perhaps envy-driven)* edge into the guilds. Since this is also an activity designed to breathee life into the guilds, you can also consider them as fuel of the fire. * In reality, I wanted a colour that stood out. xD |
