"Guilympics?" you ask? Yes, thats right, the Guilympics. A time for the various guilds of the The Danger Zone to compete in a series of creative and amusing events to earn medals and points for themselves and their guild. It is a time to gather together in solidarity, no matter what political affairs may plague the guilds, or how they may squabble over the supreme title of 'pwnsome' ... It is a time to be at peace.
Yeah right!
Gather your art supplies, your creative tools, your pen-which-is-mightier-than-the-sword and throw insults and/or rocks at each other. Chant for your guild, work your way to the top of the medal chart and boast shamelessly by displaying your medals proudly wherever you go. This is a time to battle it out, gladiator style, and generally be obnoxious. Have fun!

Get Back On That Horse and ride like the wind, Conchord! The medal design results are in, medals and points have been awarded and the event is now closed. Signups for the Spangled Anthem are officially closed, but if you've been really busy and do want to compose a quick song, please give me a buzz today or tomorrow and I can add you in.
Furthermore, I would like to poke you guys to the Torch Relay and Bribe Bash, both of which have been somewhat neglected. I have yet to uphold Shade's 10 point deduction for every 24 hour period or inactivity, but if she tells me to, I will backdate it and we might all lose points... get in there guys!
A New Poll is up for the medal design contest. Go vote now! Also, I have just realised the huge deficit in point values between art events and ones such as Bribe Bash. As such, each poll vote for an art event will earn you 50 points.
Prod... Poke... Push... I feel a little sad for the mercs, being so under-represented. Maybe there's a merc out there just waiting to show his gold? ^^
Anywho, everything except Bribe Bash has been updated and I'm too tired to count points. Particularly since the points now come with conditions which must be met before the points are awarded. This is good, if a little troublesome. xD Keep up the good work, you bribers.
Might I also draw your attention to the poor torch relay which I have recently updated. Sarinon currently carries the torch and, since she's blind, shouldn't be too much trouble. Someone might jump on in there and snatchit off her. I also hope the judges for this event are keeping an eye on it? :3 I'm also bringing the number of times each person carries the torch down to three, since it's rather long-winded and I want to get the next writing event under way ASAP.

As One Event Closes... so several more open. Yep, the logo design contest is done and dusted, but in it's place have sprung several more. Why not check them out and sign up!
Three New Events! Yep, three new events have been added to the table. Signups for these are open as of now, though the start/end dates have yet to be assigned due to the uncertain nature of the current three events.
Logo Voting and Torch Relay: The Logo Design contest's poll has been set up. There is currently no time limit for voting. Also, even though it's long overdue, the Torch Relay has now begun!
Logo Design Extended: I do a lot of these, it seems. ^^ The logo design contest has been extended for another week. Also, signups have been re-opened, so anyone who wishes may enter. If you don't get your logo in by this new due date, I will be forced to remove you from the list, sorry, but everyone is welcome to vote!
Bribe Bash Extended! Because of the nature of the event, Bribe Bash, I've decided that it should remain as an open event or the duration of the Guilympics. This means that anyone who signs up here can participate at any stage in the game and the contest won't end until it either dies or becomes too difficult to manage. Failing these two, it will continue until the Guilympics are over/dead. Any questions/objections/murders?
