Sam gulped. "CLIMB SOCK! CLIMB!" She shouted as she caught Sock's egg. She grabbed her egg, and hid behind a few crates. Waiting for Sock to get to the other side.

Sam gave Sock her egg, and dashed down the alley. Her feet were once again pounding on the graveled ground. She turned the corner and ran toward the park. "THIS WAY SOCK!"

"Sock come on!" Sam shouted. She ran into the park, still running and panting. Her egg was still in her arms. It seemed they would never make it. Sam turned right running out of town.

Sam was still running. Running right into the forest. She ran behind a bush waiting for Sock to catch up with her. Sam began to hear a crackling sound. She didn't know what it was. She looked down seeing a crack on her egg. The egg was hatching!

Sam's eyes widen. In Sam's arms was a baby dragon. It had white scales and black eyes. "Sock my egg was hatched into a dragon!"

[glow=brown,2,300]"Oh my god." Gasped Sock.
She ran her fingers over the dragon's scales, her egg was beside her.
Crrrrk...
Sock looked over at her side. Her egg was beginning to hatch as well! A small dragon with brown scales, golden eyes, and a spot over it's eye. It flapped it's wings happily. Sockmonk gasped, and picked it up.
"I'll name you Spot." She announced.
Spot chirped in delight. He liked his name.
"Spot it is then." Sockmonk smiled.

Sam looked at her dragon. She thought of a name and said, "Whiteflame?" The dragon smiled. Though Sam didn't know the gender Whiteflame could of been for a boy or girl. "Sock we should get somethings from our houses. For all we know we may have to travel for a bit."

"It looks like your dragon's a girl. From what I've read, male dragons have more of a tip on their snout then females." She said. "Well, we should get going. But we should wait 'til those jerks are long gone, though."[/glow]

"A girl.... I like that. Well I guess we will be sleeping here tonight." Sam leaned back Whiteflame in her arms. She began to gently fall asleep with a smile on her face.
