The man had heard enough of the conversation taking place below where he lay.
Drawing in a deep breath, as he jumped to the ground, he prepares to forcefully enter the house to confront these two strangers.
Before he could, however, he noticed a dark shape laying in the alley. Seeing that it was something that definitely did not appear human, or animal, he picks it up, and carries it to an offset alcove, where he sets up camp and fire for the night.
