Xavier nodded, suddenly lost for words. A suspicious look crossed Storm's face. "What if... but no... that can't have been Mirra in disguise. She was able to use Noel's powers to mimic her appearance, but... I don't believe even Noel could change her appearance that drastically, and she's controlled illusions for most of her life."

Xavier shrugged. "Reflections are rare. Those that absorb are even rarer. But it's possible, I suppose."
Storm looked at him. "Reflections?"
"People who can reflect someone else's element when they're nearby. Mirra is a reflection who can absorb elements as well - quite rare indeed, they say that hardly any have been recorded." He paused, seeing Storm's eyes. "Don't look at me like that. I did a lot of reading on elementals after I figured out about my own powers, so buzz off." She grinned.

"I wonder if this guy is the same as Mirra?" said Xavier. "After all, after we got away from Mirra my powers came back."
"If it really is this guy," Storm reminded him. "I do agree with you, though. If he has a certain range like Mirra does..."
