Okay, this'll be the last time in a long while I take up a colored comic. I draw fast - this one was done on the 16th - but coloring takes aaaaages because I dwell on details and have yet to master speedpainting. 'hwell. ...Unfortunately, Bloody Mary was strongly against selling them all to y'guys for 500 shinies a piece. Said something or other about nobody being willing to pay this much money for magical chests that pop out random items, sound like an elephant stepping on a bagpipe, and look like they're going to murder you in your sleep. (The lime-green chest in the pre-last panel scares me to this day.) So you'll be getting them for free =D Fun, eh? Goes like this. * You can request the color of the chest (chances are they won't come in the exact same color, but at least they'll generally fit with the rest of your mantelpiece, right?) and the color of the metal reinforcements in the chests' corners (either gold or silver... or rather copper or tin, whatever it is they're made of, stupid non-gold-magical-thingyboppers). * Careful testing has revealed that each chest contains a random item you can't choose, but the chest selects it by itself via your karmic signature that relates you to your guild. In other words, you'll also have to specify your guild. If you don't, it'll consider you a commoner and gives you some bland common item like Rider's old socks. * Which means that if you're not in a guild but want one, you can get one. Just expect less pixie dust/cool laser pistols and more socks. * You can teeechnically get more than one (not sure why you'd want more than one, you'd only get bagpipes on stereo) but I'll deal with any second/third/whichever requests after I'm done with first requests. * Last and most important point: don't get spellbooks from a discount sale. Ever. Yeah, that's 'bout it. Ask away before we all go deaf and get murdered in our beds <3 |

Umm could I have a royal blue one ( the colour royal blue), and silver reinforcement thingies. And... I'll say the Mage Guild.

I've got a ton of storage space, so should be able to find somewhere to put the little guy.
By the way, do they need to be cared for? Fed? Watered? Fertilized? Refinished every ten years?

By the way, do they need to be cared for? Fed? Watered? Fertilized? Refinished every ten years? They're not organic, so they don't eat or sleep or do other organic-y things, but they do demand for attention whenever they get bored, and since they don't sleep, you'll have to be prepared to get enthusiastically bweeee-d at in the middle of the night and wake up to the chest wanting to play ball with you. Remember kids, taking a magical chest is a big responsibility. Okay, maybe not a big one, but if you neglect it, it'll whine and whine and eventually build up a pitch high enough to break glass. Michelle, the colors can repeat (actually it'd make life easier for me) because the items will be different for everyone. Aaand here's one for Cyborg, apparently containing... about half a pound of strong sleeping powder. This won't end well. 'hwell, at least it's no longer my problem :3  |
