Hey guys....can you pray for my dog's chemotherapy to work? It's hurting her column and she can't walk or feel her back legs... I already saw this in your diary so I've been keeping her in my prayers. *hugs* Edit: So my best friend just called me on Skype to tell me her church is doing a week-long fast and prayer for health, and she's chosen to do hers about my depression. *happydance* I'm kind of speechless but so thankful and ... *bounces* God is amazing. Just ... amazing.

Just ... amazing. Sarn, I think your prayers are working! I just visited Fran, she was ten times better than the last time I visited! THe last time she could hardly look up, she had blood stains on her belly because of the surgery and th anesthesia made her really confused. Now she is clean, wide awake and when we arrived she was so happy! <3 The vet even said that she didn't had any side effects from the chemotherapy, no throwing up, no feeling sick...I'm not sure about the hair fall because she has always been spreading her blonde fur around, so it's hard to tell if it's normal or a side effect... XD Thank you SO much! <3 Hugs for all who had been praying and hoping for her, all this positive energy is having great results!

Something that always confused me to no end is the doctrine of the Trinity. I've just listened to a talk my pastor gave a while ago on the matter and it's been very helpful in my understanding. ^^ I'm still thinking it over but if anyone's in the same position as me, you might want to take the time to listen. (I listen while playing games. xD) www.campuschurch.org.nz/talks/26/

Thanks for linking to the sermon, Sarn! I'm listening to it now, and it's lovely to hear people reading scripture with the Kiwi accents. <3 The sermon's going through a lot of the problematic theologies, which is very helpful for clarification.
I'll be needing prayers for finding a good place to stay when I'm on exchange in London. I've worked out that the places that best suit my needs are the Intercollegiate Halls of Residence - they are within walking distance of the KCL Strand Campus, but best of all they all have a music room so that I can practice my piano and viola when I'm over there. I don't like the thought of not touching an instrument for five months straight... ^^;; I don't think I've ever gone longer than a month away from the piano since I was five years old. But please pray that a spot will open for me in these Intercollegiate Halls, because I'm applying for the second and third terms only (Jan-Jun), and rooms for that time will only become available if some students leave just after the first term ends.

I'm taking Mika, my dog, to the vet in ten minutes or so. Please just say a little prayer that it's something we can fix easily. Cause she's 11 or 12 years old, getting up there in age.

Sure thing. ^_^ Pacmanite, I know this is super-belated, but I said prayers for you too.

Er. A friend of mine's little baby nephew is really sick - I don't know the details, but it's something about how there's fluid trapped in his brain. And they drained it, and they thought maybe he was fine, but it's come back again. His name is Levi. Pray for him, if you want to. Prayer is a strangely powerful thing and anything that could help would, I think, be welcome.

Of course, Storm.

I'm late in announcing this here, but the residence I received from our prayers has been very good. Hughes Parry Hall, one of the Intercollegiate Halls, is feeling good, like a home already. So I'm thankful for this. It's a nice place to be, so central in London too.
I will pray for your friend's nephew Levi, Storm. That sounds a terrible thing to happen to someone so very young.
And I want to request prayers for salvation for an unsaved friend. Who knows what will come of this, it's all in God's hands anyway, but I believe He wants us to raise these things up to Him.

DDDD:
So hearing about some of the insane things Christians do or say to other people is really awful at times. I almost want to bury my head in the sand in shame and be like "Please don't associate us with this!"

I almost want to bury my head in the sand in shame and be like "Please don't associate us with this!" I wouldn't let it worry you too much. There's equally dumb and shameful things that all supporters of any group say and do. Atheists, Christians, Pastafarians, etc. It's a human thing, not a Christian one.

Yeah, it's just easy enough to find crazy people who fly the Christian banner, simply because there are just lots of Christians out there, versus other groups, like Pastafarians (to use Stal's example).
Also, Stal, you s'pose this group should be moved to the Clubs board? XD It's sort of felt out of place for a while.

Honestly? Probably not. We moved it there before (at least once) and were asked to move it back here, weren't we? In general clubhouse tends to be more for fandoms then something like this (or at least has turned that way). And with the Asperger's/AS and LBGTA groups here it actually fits in pretty well as opposes to being only one of its kind.
If you have a good reasoning for moving it, though, let us know. This isn't concrete at all. Mostly just mulling over that this is fitting in a lot more than originally.

Perhaps rename it to "Christian Support Group"
'cause it's more of a support group than a club.
