"You bought a dragon egg," I said. THat was one big shock. I checked to see if Dark was okay. Unfortunately she was up. I took a blanket out of a bag that Adarin carried and wrapped her in it. Then I got out a tarp like thing and made shelter. I connected it to one tree and pinned it down to the ground. "Brr..." It was getting chilly. I finally finished a safe shelter, with the help of my friends, from the winds and I went inside. Everyones animals were already inside keeping each other warm. I sat down next to a small cot I had set up for the little ones. Dark laid there asleep. Phew.

After the reality of Sockmonk buying the dragon egg Chris's eyes narrow. And he holds Yanim closer to his chest.

"Chris what's wrong? You seem to be squishing Yanim," I asked Chris. I looked to see who Chris was looking at. He was looking straight at Sock. I was a little worried, but I let it go. The wind hadn't stopped. Looks like we would be here for the night.

"Nothing..." Chris is still hugging Yanim but other wise keeps his mouth shut. After a while he says. "Should we just make camp here?"

"Yeah, we better. Trying to go out in that level of wind could be dangerous," I replied to Chris' question. I looked in my bag and found 4 pillows and 4 blankets for my pets. I took them out and gave 1 blanket and pillow each to Adarin, Torrin, and Dark. Then I put down a pillow and pulled a blanket over me. I began to fall asleep...

"Well you really should get some rest. So at least try to get some sleep," I told Chris. I went right back to sleep after that.

Chris sighs then lies down on a blanket. With Yanim sleeping next to him as usual.

[glow=brown,2,300]"What's wrong with you?!" I said, glaring at the two. "Never seen a dragon egg before?!"
I hugged the egg close to my chest. I looked down at it again, and sighed. I wondered if this was the right thing to do. Silver was waging his tail staring at Chris in a strange manner, as if something were wrong.
"I know Silver," I whispered. "I don't trust him either."
I put the egg gently down, and saw a crack in it. Cerrrrrrrrrack...The egg hatched open and out popped a small, black dragon with red eyes.
"Awww it's so cute!" I said.
Silver looked at the dragon, and a small smile went across his muzzle. He looked back at Chris with a horrible stare.
"I'm watching you boy..." A voice echoed through the town.
"What was that?" I asked.
Silver looked at me. I KNEW what it was. It was Silver, and this was one of the few times he actually spoke.[/glow]
