Cat-Elaine, who'd been in a very light sleep, stretched and got back up, then went up to the staff and sniffed it. She didn't seem to be very interested in it. After a few minutes, she curled up on Chris's sleeping bag and started purring.

Brandon blessed his luck that the stranger's attention had been diverted just then. Following at a safe distance he made a small, completely hollow tree around himself with his earth magic.
Pah. Over-exerting myself watching strangers.
Brandon couldnt figure WHY he was spying on them - that feeling he recognised one of them, he figured..
Falling asleep, he sat bolt upright with a jerk realising why he recognised one of them. One was royalty.
He attempted to go properly introduced himself, but his magic had drained him. Bumping his head, he groaned unhappily, rolled over reluctantly, and fell instantly asleep.

Elaine yawned. For some reason she wasn't as drained as she was a few minutes ago. Perhaps she was getting used to this animal form.
Well, if I am, it's good. I can change into a cat more often. This bedroll is comfy... her tail twitched a few times. Her thoughts switched to the peopel she'd met today. She yawned again. Defin's okay...I guess...Peachi's an annoying jerk. Chris is a nice guy... Those were her last thoughts before she fell asleep.
