Yeah, another. Need I say more? Anyway, here's my character...
Name: Laewyn
Age: Unknown, but looks to be around 20.
Gender: Female
Race: Patryn (I kind of took this straight out of the Death Gate series, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman, just a little modified...)
Special Abilities: Patryns do not fight; they are magic casters. However, they do not use any kind of weapon. They use their hands, and their minds, to draw runes. Runes can be drawn on things as enchantments, or in the air as spells - though weaker than a spell by a mage. More than anything else, they are enchanters, but are extremely deadly.
Bio: Laewyn escaped the Labrynth (where the ancient race of the Patryns were locked in, millions of years ago (she was born inside the Labrynth)). Sent by the Lord of the Nexus - the land of the Patryns after having escaped the Labrynth - to investigate the other planets (Long story short: Patryns and the Sartan were arch enemies. The Sartan locked the Patryns in the Labrynth, and re sculpted the worlds.) for signs of the Sartan, or for knowledge of them. Her ultimate mission is to stir up trouble so her Lord can come in and take rule of the planets as the Patryns should have, had the Sartan not stepped in.
Physical Appearance: A little shorter than average height, and fairly skinny, but extremely fit. Deep brown eyes, and pale skin. Long hair, dark brown except for the tips, which are white. A long sleeved black shirt, and black pants. Bandages covering her hands and wrists and up her arms, except for her finger tips. Is always accompanied by a brown and white dog, who seems to have no magical abilities whatsoever, and doesn't really even have a name, just is very friendly and seems to be good company.
Personality (How could I forget this?): Quiet and very calm, not saying much, but what she does say is quite meaningful. Keeps to herself and her dog, but is constantly aware of what is going on around her, with very quick reflexes.

((Name: Tara Age: 19 Gender: Female Race: Elf Appearance: A tan-colored sleeveless shirt and pants of the same color, bare feet, copper-colored hair tied back in a braid that goes to the middle of her back, a black cloak under which is a bow and a quiver of arrows, a thick brown belt on which is her sheathed sword, deep green eyes and tan skin.
Personality: Friendly and outgoing, loves the excitment of a good battle. Sometimes has trouble trusting others, and doesn't like people doing things behind her back, or not telling her things she should know. Isn't too comfortable with telling her secrets to other people, even Shagai(description below)
Bio: Was raised in a normal elven village before her father got murdered when she was 14. She went off on a journey to find the man who killed him, and on her way met Shagai, who helped her out with her magic. She’s still trying to find him to get revenge on her father.
Abilities: Pretty good skills at magic, an ace at archery, not too good with a sword or anything else. Doesn't know how to read.
Familiar:
Name: Shagai Race: Familiar(Elemental Ice Tiger, to be precise). Age: Unknown.
Appearance: A pure white tiger with icy-blue stripes and eyes of the same color. Wears a silver chain around his neck.
Personality: Not shy, but not too talkative either. Very protective of Tara, though is now trying to teach her to be able to defend herself without his help.
Bio: Unknown.
Skills: Extremely good at magic, has a pretty good knowledge of just about everything.))
"Hey! Wait up!" yelled a familiar voice behind me. I would've stopped, but I kept on running, even though I didn't want to.
I ended up tripping on a rock and falling. A silhouette in front of me knelt down. It opened its mouth. "Tara, wake up..."
I opened my eyes to find Shagai looking down on me. The sun was already high up in the sky. "You overslept. We must get on our way now." he said, and I nodded. I got back up and looked around to find the easiest way out of the forest. I looked down at Shagai. "This way." he said, almost like he was reading my thoughts.

Laewyn had been walking along a path, her dog bounding by her side. She heard voices a little to her left, and decided to walk off the path; she had nothing better to do. There was nobody on this planet that even half-resembled a Patryn. She turned to her left and walked through a few bushes. There, she saw an oddly-coloured tiger, and a girl with it. The tiger, at least, looked magical, if not the girl; Laewyn couldn't tell. They seemed to have an important purpose, from the way they spoke ((Shagai is talking, right?)). Not wanting to make a scene, Laewyn observed them for a minute. However, her dog bounded out of the bushes and gamboled up to the tiger before Laewyn could do anything.

Shagai growled at the dog. I sighed. "Calm down," I said, "It's just a dog."
Shagai kept on growling for a minute, but finally stopped. "Weren't you the one who said we had to be on our way right now?" I said. "And there you go growling at a dog for no reason. Come on." I started walking, but Shagai didn't follow. I stopped and turned around. "Shagai...?" I asked.
"There's someone else here..." he grumbled. I sighed. "Come on already! You're wasting more time than I did oversleeping!" I insisted.

Laewyn turned to the man, seeing that Dog was in no evident danger. "My dog went off into the bushes, and I was looking for him." She said calmly.
((Eh, I was just reading Elven Star, and I remembered Haplo's mission, so I'm gonna go and change her mission right now. It's not to find other Patryns; she's looking at other planets or something....))

"Oh, sure. Five minutes is so much more time than THREE HOURS!" said Shagai. I sighed. "Well at least I wasn't growling at some dog." I replied.

Laewyn stepped out of the bushes, and turned to Dog. "Dog. Come here." The dog, obedient to her every command, stopped sniffing around and walked over to his master. "Apologies. This is my Dog; he ran ahead." Laewyn said quickly.

((Yeah, I'm going to join soon-ish. I just need to find an opening.
I shall use... Marcus!
Profile:
Name: Marcus Crystal Name: Saturn Fused Form (Evil): Saturn-Marcus
Race: Human
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Appearance: Tall, with sleek black hair. He wears a long black jacket, that goes down to his ankles (I think they have names...?). He has dark blue pants. under his jaket is a white shirt, that is always spotless.
Personality: While Saturn-Marcus is evil, normal Marcus is a fun-loving person. However, because his planet is now in peril, he is serious, and sometimes finds it hard to have a good time.
Powers/Skills: His only skill is to tap into his Crystal, Saturn, for energy. This makes an abundance of skills for him to choose from.
Weapons: A normal Pike.
Bio: After strange crystals were found in a huge cavern at his native planet, being like any other person, Marcus got one.
His crystal is the legendary Saturn Crystal, the self proclaimed King of Crystals. Marcus isn't really sure how his crystal has a personality. He doesn't bother trying to figure it out, either.
These crystals, Saturn included, are being used (Against the crystal's will) as a medium to help enslave planets.
The crytals have one extraordinary power: they can fuse with their owner. The crystals, which had become a large fad on Marcus's home planet, were able to control the user when fused.
However, Saturn was not completely converted into evil. Every time Marcus taps into it, there is a chance the crystal will take over him.
When fused with the evil Saturn, Marcus cannot control his actions, including turning back to normal. The only way for him to return to normal is for Saturn to choose to release control.
The only way to tell if he is Saturn-Marcus, is to check the irises (sp?) of his eye. When controlled they are red and shaped like diamonds.
When he is fused with the normal Saturn, he is fully aware of what is going on, and can control himself. He looks the same.))

((I was going to post earlier, but I went biking instead... sorry. And it's Ajenn with a J, not a G, btw. ) Laewyn turned to face the young man. "What makes you so sure I'm lying?" She said calmly. She remembered her instructions carefully. You are strictly an observer, you are not to take action unless in idirect means. Do not expose your true identity to the other beings there. Stir up trouble for a war, so I can step in. It was her job to cause a war, not just a petty rivalry between two people. She turned to check on her dog for a moment, and found him looking at the tiger, still. "Eh...my dog seems to like your tiger." She said lamely to the girl.
