Exactly, Amnei. Too overpowered will make the other guilds annoyed. Every guild has it's weaknesses, like the knights, in the last one, trusted Shinobi too much. So we have to have a weakness... Hmm...Prehaps, being tech based, we do not understand magic that well? That'd be a good, plausible flaw. No worries, the secrets safe with me. HEY WOLF! I KNOW FLEETS -stifled- Kidding. About the whole *zomgtelltheknights* thing. Hmmm...Then we'll have to explain about both you (since you're a Fae and thus a magical creature if I remember correctly) and Strife's earth magic, along with anybody else I'm forgetting. Maybe Hrothgar and Talon and any other bad guys we meet could go down to the NTWF and try to ally with the rest of the guilds? Hrothgar would probably alienate everybody else within a few minutes by offering them slaves for their help, but Talon would be smart enough to pose as a legitimate dealer who can get them, say, EMP or scrambler grenades.

Who's Talon? ^^;

The weapons dealer who sold Hrothgar his machine gun. Apparently he's also the reason Hrothgar had a rocket launcher. I only mentioned him in one post, so maybe that's why you got confused. ^^

Wait a second, wait a second. "Talon"? As in Talon Karrde, from the Star Wars books? (The smuggler Mara Jade worked for.) And I think I heard someone say "Hrothgar" was from a series of books.
Okay, that's it. From now on I'm in charge of naming new characters.
That's pretty much my forte, naming people is. I take in the person's essence: personality, appearence, culture or assumed culture, the latter two of which includes taking into account other people's names belonging to the same culture. Once I figure all that out (only takes a few seconds usually) I start the actual name-making; I usually start either with the first few letters, the last few letters, a sound I want in the name, or a pre-existing word that I think's fitting that I can skew, then I just add, remove, adjust and tweak sounds and spellings until I find something I like. When you're writing a good spelling is more important than a good sound, especially online, but I take both into consideration.

Not...exactly. >_> I wanted an illegal weapons dealer who could sell stuff to Hrothgar, and I heard that Black Talon is a bullet brand in real life, so I just used that. Seemed like something a black market merchant would do.

Hmm... Maybe Halloween, when forumers will be Trick-or-Treating, wearing costumes, and expecting something like this to be just another scare-out-out-of-your-Halloween-mask activity. Or maybe Thanksgiving, specifically after dinner when everyone would be too stuffed to respond. ...Except that would interfere with Spacefleet celebrations. Perhaps the day after either of those events when people would still be eating candy/leftovers? (On a more serious note, I don't care that much, though we should give ourselves adequate time before starting. And do you think we should make another thread for this stuff? One without a name that would be a clue to what it's about, that is. )

((That's why I post elsewhere on the Spacefleet guild directly after posting on Eye in the Sky, so it's not the last thread posted on and non 'Fleeters won't see it and be all "Prelude to Whaaa-?!?!"))
Here's a question, are people like Clint and Zari's clones allowed in Guild Wars? I've never GW'd before, so I don't know.

Yes they are. There were several off-characters in the last guild wars, for example Sev (don't tell Sev I called him an off character, he'll scorch me for sure), Kya, and Taa'kan were all secondary characters. So was Rider's my little pony from heck (Shiva I think he was called... maybe). In the case of say Zari's clones, one could consider them as part of her arsenal. They're weapons with personality.
And as for new thread, we could just get Strife to change the thread's title instead.

I'm pretty sure the clones aren't against the rules, since Knight!Zari had Zahaere Emaya and Holly Ailden (Yay for naive little sisters!)
