"Hmm ... uh, what?" Reiza snapped back to the present, having drifted off with trying to figure out the correct path. "Oh, sorry, Krien. I suppose I should explain, shouldn't I...." Reiza held her paw behind her head, smiling with her dazed stupidity. Then her face turned more serious, and she went on to explain, "The shrines are supposed to remain a secret. Only those within the families of shrine guardians and a few select others know of their locations. I took our present situation to be an emergency, considering Yrien's ill condition, so for that reason only am I exposing this shrine." Reiza turned her head towards the entrance.
"I will probably have to have you all swear to secrecy. I'll explain further as soon as the others join us."

"Yrein and Ilensei ...," Reiza said, with a glare that would make anybody feel stupid. "Yrein's taking her sweet time getting to this part of the cavern, and Ilensei's also moving pretty slowly."
((As in, what happened to the other people participating in this RP?! We need you to come back!!! ))

Reiza looked around. "Everybody's here? Okay, I'm going to explain about the existence of the shrines. I must have you swear to secrecy on this matter, for the orbs should remain hidden from those that would mis-use them. ... You might want to sit down, it'll be a bit of a tale," Reiza added as a side note. She sat down herself, and began to tell the story that had been passed down through many generations of the shrine guardians.
"Long ago, there was a single phoenix. This pheonix, clothed in fiery down, nested upon 6 orbs. Each stone represented an element - air, earth, fire, water, light, and dark. It was rumored that if one posessed one of the orbs, that individual would be able to control the element itself. As you can see, this left for a dangerous potential - and disaster eventually befell the lands. Greed and mistrust removed the orbs from their place of safe keeping, and the earth lay shattered and ruined. The phoenix, powerless without its orbs, turned to the first dragons for help. Six dragons retrieved the orbs, and in graditude, the phoenix named each of the brave dragons the first guardians of the orbs. Their ancestors came to harness some of the elemental powers - thought to be another gift of the phoenix. That is why there are different classes of dragons - each descended from the guardian of a certain element."
"To this day, there are seven shrines - one for each of the elements, and one in honor of the phoenix. Very few know of their existence, and they are well guarded by both traps and a dragon guardian. We are presently within the shrine of the dark orb." Reiza took a deep breath, done with her explaination.
((I like the start of this. Would you guys mind if I took the RP and made it neopet-ish to submit to the NT later? I'd count it as a colab and probably set it up as a series.
And if I'm doing something I shouldn't, correct me. This is my first RP, after all... ))
