I'm sorry, Kit... I had figured one response to Shade would be alright, and the second was clarifying my earlier point... Again, I apologize. No need to be sorry. It was more of the two of you didn't give my character a chance to speak and carried on the conversation as if I wasn't there, not that you spoke too much. ^^ .. No worries though, in my three years of roleplaying, this is a common problem.

No worries though, in my three years of roleplaying, this is a common problem. I had wanted you to be a part of it, though you worked your own bit into it quite well, so it is disappointing that the conversation couldn't have lasted a bit longer. But, well, that's three years you have on me. To be honest, until I was invited to join the knights, I hardly knew exactly what roleplaying online was. So, I'm definitely not the most-experienced role-player. On a slightly different matter, but on a related matter nonetheless (and this is asked of all, not merely of you, Kit), how shall the ceremony be conducted, if we have a formal one? I think it'd be only fair if all attended, though clearly that might prove easier said than done.

Too true... I think I'm still about ten minutes behind some of the events that are happening in the roleplay right now, for all the catching up I've been doing. And I'm in a North American timezone. =3 Although it's nice that this roleplay has been moving along so well, I think we've left some of the members who can't log on everyday in our dust. Sorry Kit and Tamia. And everyoen else I sped along. I had to get off really fast last post of mien and I wanted to get the point of urgency into all that. A suggestion for catching up with rude people (including me) would be to get a word in by summing up the past and then ending with your thoughts/words/actions in the end. You'll get the hang of role-playing, by the way, Wolf. I've been doing this for five years and I still post like a moderate.

For me, this is effectively my fist time role-playing on a forum. I did join in the D&D game before this, but it moves slowly.

It's okay, Shino. ^^ Like I said, it's actually really nice to be involved in a thriving, active roleplay like this, and you were only trying to keep it that way. There's no harm done. I guess one thing we'll all have to be mindful about how far we push the conversation or situation in a single series of posts. I had to slap myself today as I prepared to write another post explaining what Tamia found; I'd completely forgotten there was an unfinished conversation going on before I arrived. There's no way I should be posting three times in between two posts made by another character in the story.

As a general rule of thumb, if there are more than two people in a conversation/scene, let everyone who is involved have their post before replying; and it helps if the other people involved don't take too long to reply. About a post every two days would be the minimum I think, preferably more often. I'd hate to see the roleplay get held up because everyone is waiting for a particular person to post. In that case, I guess it would be alright to bypass that person.

Perhaps after we get past the introduction...
as I have assumed we'll be starting a new RP thread after the introduction is up, though we might not be... I don't know...
...we should include in the first post a list of roleplaying courtesies and rules to follow, to make things like this easier to avoid...

[shadow=purple,left,300]Good point, so we can keep the god-moding down. But I think we'll just modify the introduction so we don't have to create a new RP thread.[/shadow]

Kit ran off (with Shade). Wolf ran off with Shino.)) Taken out of context, this OoC note just sounds so wrong. ..what? This is an OoC thread after all.

That is why things need not be taken out of context!
And I fondly recall that time at the 'bloids... I hate being too busy to go there...
Say, though, if Wolf and Shino did run off, then we'd be kings together! lol
