Double-posting to say something:

((I'd just like to point out that Shino has suddenly lost all his senses and went to sit by Kat and droll all day with his tongue flapping out of his mouth. He just became bold enough to ask Lady Kalianne Triss out. She accepted and he was happy. After all, usually all his "outings" are formal and no woman really liked him after that.

That's part of the reason he had always showed strictness and formality around ladies and, especially, Kat. I'm no love-sick puppy. XP))

Normally, I would ask whether there was a negative missing in the first sentence. But since this is Shino, I will choose to believe that it was actually intended.

You're being a Fae isn't that beyond what's accepted. Unless you're idea of the Fae are not the little, benevolent pixies and such of traditional American idealage, but instead the ruthless and rather malevolent Sidhe of Irish and Celtic lore. However, either way, I see no reason why Knights couldn't be suspicious about Zari's reaction to their reaction of accepting her as a Fae...

EDIT: At which, what exactly do your wings look like? Reptilian, angelic, Neopets-Faeriesque...?

Fae look relatively human, but I wouldn't recommend making eye contact for too long with some of the older ones. Wings range in colour and type. Some highly dislike humans for their mortality (Fae envy mortals. Oh yes) while others go undercover as teachers and healers.
And then there's wild magic. Nasty stuff.

Zari's wings are six and a half foot each, and reptilian.

It's like a spirit, but not a person. It's a whole place. And anyone can find themselves in it if they're tired, insecure, or anxious.
