Zaha laughed suddenly, responding to Rain's grin with one of her own. 'That would make sense, but I think it's only one person up there. So it's either a pervert or a girl. I know which one I've got my money on.' she giggled. 'Ha.'

Jakie grinned. "Betcha it's a boy." She looked over at PFA, glad to see she wasn't forgotten. "I've been ready." TWC waved his tail at his new catgirl friend and walked back to the group of ninja. "What are we waiting for, people?" Jakie scooped up the cat and set him on her head. "Patience, kitty." She shifted her pack slightly and started off, smiling. "Is it much farther?" TWC mewed. "What do you care? You aren't walking." Jakie snapped, then blinked. "Eh. Sorry. It's a lot farther, isn't it Zaha?"

'Two days. One and a half will be walking, the other half will be hiking. My feline friend, you shall have to walk. Jakie can't carry you in her arms, since she'll need a staff to Navigate, or on her head, since she'll over balance. Three hours on rocks, three climbing uphill. CLIMBING. I can make you a sling for the climbing part, though. The mountains are so rocky they're like steps. No trouble, I climbed the highest halfway up in half an hour at a slow pace. Mind, I have opposable thumbs. Unless you can shift-' Zaha turned into a small white cat with black ears, black paws, and a black-tipped tail, flicked her tail, then shifted smoothly back 'You'll be in for lessons. If you can talk, you can do it. Most talking cats or semi-cat people are part Felidae. It easy. I learnt as soon as I could make a noise, which you can.' she gave a small smile. Liiah waved, smiled, then was consumed in a swirl of violet-lilac light, vanishing. Zaha coughed 'Yes, we do magic. Small things mostly. Shaping branches, cooking food.'

Zaha turned to CA and raised an eyebrow 'You can Navigate rocks with no hands?' she inquired skeptically, swishing her tail. 'We need to get going. This person up in the mountains is putting my city in danger, as well as countless others. How long before it kills someone?'

"Yes, we should really get going. We don't want this supposed ninja running around and ruining our reputation," PFA said.
"I'll lead the way!" SRGNG grinned.
"I thought you said you didn't want to lead the way?" PFA raised an eyebrow.
"I changed my mind..." SRGNG replied.
PFA shrugged. "Whatever. Come on guys, let's go."

Zaha set off at a light pace, aware of the fact she had more stamina Than all the others put together and halved. She'd trained herself to be so. 'Over here. More cover,' she murmured, drifting towards the sparse trees and climbing into one. 'Well? If you can't climb, you'll have to learn the hard way. Since most of you smell of cat, I'm sure you can if you try.' Zaha grinned and leapt into another tree.

TWC twitched his tail. "Well that's no fun. I guess I can try.." He leapt neatly from Jakie's head. The catgirl smiled. "He's always been lazy. I suppose that's my fault, I spoil him too much." Jakie pretended not to notice the evil look her cat was giving her. Turning his nose up slightly at being called lazy, TWC hopped onto CA's shoulder. Fellow cat-guys should stick together, right? "Thank you."
Jakie, moving faster now that she didn't have to worry about a cat perching on her head, watched Zaha scurry up the tree. "No problem." She waited until PFA had starting climbing and shot up the tree like a bunny. She tried to grab the trunk as a cat would, be remembered she only had fingernails - And loosened her grip.
Which, when you are seven feet up a tree, is a bad thing.
She shrieked and fell backwards, wrapping her legs around the trunk. Her front half went upside down and bumped against the tree.
"Um.. little help here?"

"Um.. little help here?" Jakie squeaked.
"I'll help!" SRGNG offered, and he walked over to the tree. He paused in front of it for a moment, looking up at Jakie. He squirmed a little, then grabbed onto the tree and began to climb.
After a while, SRGNG had almost reached Jakie, and was about to help her up, when he glanced down at the ground, noticing how high up he was. He clinged to the tree and made an uncomfortable squeak.
"Um... would now be a bad time to say I'm afraid of heights?" he whimpered.
There were facepalms all around.

Rain glared woefully up at a tree. The old pine tree was large and imposing, not to mention it had a rather angry look to it. "I guess I'm supposed to climb you." There was a silence for a moment and the girl shivered. "Fine, fine, any branches that you reccomend?" Silence again. Rain walked around the trunk and tipped her fingers so that they clung to the lowest branch. "Here goes nothing," she muttered.
The climb was only slightly successful. After almost falling, Rain scrambled up into the tree a fair ways, accompanied by several cuts and achings hands. "So, now what?" She raised her voice slightly to be heard through the tree, while she nursed her hands.

Zaha leaned down and grabbed Jakie's knee, hauling her up with suprising strength for a slight catgirl, then grabbed SRGNG by thhe wrist and hauled him into the tree. 'You're a Ninja. You should be able to climb, my friend.'

Cat Assassin sighed as he watched the comedic scene. However, as the scene went on second by second, it looked as if those up on the trees had no hope of coming down.
Cat Assassin shouted, "If you're not coming down in a minute, I'll have to cut the tree down, you hear me?!"
