Pirate Training II: Fenrix vs. Ikkin!

Okay, so here's how this is going to work.

Basically, this'll be like a Tabloid duel, except that godmoding should be kept in check. Depending on how quickly this goes, the duel might last for five pages, or it might last for two, or anywhere inbetween, depending on how long it survives.

The point is to get a feel for how to duel opponents, so if you ever come across one of them sneaky ninja, you can pwn it. There aren't really any winners- it's all for fun.

People besides the combatants can post and wave signs or something, but don't take up too much space, because the duel is limited in length.

In the interests of full disclosure, I think we should say what kind of weapons we'll be using. ^^ So... I'll be using my (reversed-blade) pirate cutlass and a training dagger, along with a limited version of my magic (so, blunted pressure darts and wind slices, and fire sword - it's training, so I'm not going to be using sharp weapons). I won't use any flight powers.

*stands in a ready position, holding the hilt of her sword and preparing for a quick draw*

I'll be using my exploding cards(dulled down so that they only knock you over if hit with them), a wooden bo staff and this shiney stuff that makes you sneeze.

*bows to you and takes two steps forward, brings staff down on Ikkin's right arm*

[Goosh]

*Holds up GO IKKIN =D sign*

[Ikkin]

*draws her sword out quickly, moving her arm out of the way of Fen's staff and using the wind to extend the reach of her sword to try to hit Fen in the stomach and knock her back*

*brings her sheath around in an arc with the whirling motion, bringing it in front of her*

*She stumbles back and gets nicked by the edge, leaving a long, thin, welt.*

*grabs the black king of clubs and throws it at Ikkin's feet, trying to knock her over.*

[Ikkin]

*jumps backwards to avoid the card, but gets hit by the blast anyway*

*is knocked into the air, flips to right herself, and lands on her feet in a crouch, harder than she'd like*

*gets to her feet, replaces her sheath in her belt, and throws a pressure dart at Fenrix with her left hand to try to buy herself some time*

*gets struck by pressure dart on her left wing. The wing is rendered useless for a while*

*stifles shriek and grabs handful of sneezing powder, blowing it towards Ikkin to give her wing time to get over pain.*

[Ikkin]

*blows the sneezing powder back towards Fenrix with a gust of wind strong enough to knock a normal person over*

*covers self with remaining wing, the heat from the scales desinigrating the powder instantly. But is knocked on her tail by the wind*

*throws the red Queen of spades and the black three of hearts at Ikkin*

*slices the cards in two with a sharp wind and runs towards Fenrix, trying to close the distance*

*cards explode*

*jumps to her feet and brandishes her bo staff, holding it at ready.*

[Ikkin]

*is past the cards, so is knocked towards Fenrix rather than away*

*tries to orient herself to land on Fenrix rather than the ground*

*realizes her mistake, and attempts to drop to the ground to miss Ikkin*

*positions staff so that Ikkin will be smacked with it in the stomach*

[Ikkin]

*tries to twist out of the way of the staff, but can't avoid it completely and falls to the side with her sword arm under her*

*rolls over and tries to stab Fenrix with her dagger as she gets to her feet*

[Cyborg]

Go Ikkin!!!!!!!!!! WWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!! * Takes out pompoms*
Brrrr it's cold in here must mean Ikkin's in the atmosphere!!!!!! ( If you don't know where thats from its from Bring it On )!!!!!!!!!!
