"So much for contacting Gimmer," Indalabray says.
"Why her?"
"She was born a grundo."

"So, how do we get there, Ro? Think you can fly?" I asked my pet.
"Uh...you're forgetting that we're going in SPACE here, and unless you have two astronaut suits, then the only way to go is by boarding a space ship." replied Eyroe.
"...right. When does the next one leave?"
"Very soon. 2 MINUTES!!!" Eyroe yelled.
"Ahh! Really?! We're going to miss it for sure!"
"Well, there's another way...we'd have to get to AstroVilla."
"Well, then, to the NeoLodge!" I exclaimed. "But first, to the bank!"
We took out a few thousand neopoints from the bank and headed to the NeoLodge.
"AstroVilla, for two, 5 days, please." I said.
"And put in the Burger Bar." added Eyroe.
"That'll make 5050." the acara replied. "The plane is leaving in an hour."
I payed, and we both stepped out. "Soo, what do we do while we're waiting?" asked Eyroe.
"I dunno." I replied.
"Watcha got in there?" he asked, pointing towards my backpack.
"Oh, I forgot it was there. School stuff, and a few things of mine. Oh YES! My CD player's in there!" I exclaimed.
"Uuhh....what's a sea-dee player?"

I flip over on my back and scuttle away from Fyora. "But I'm innocent!" "Innocent? Not likely!" roared the Faerie Queen. "What about the time you drew a mustache on the picture of your principle hanging in the front of the school?!" "Well, I- hey, wait! How would you know about that?" I ask, scuttling further and further away from the advancing Faerie. "This orb here ain't just for decoration, mortal," Fyora told me, stroking the purple orb at the top of her staff. She wasn't nearly as nice in person as she had always seemed when I was playing Neopets. HEY, WAIT JUST A SECOND HERE! WHAT AM I DOING IN NEOPIA? I faint. When I regain conciousness, I'm sitting in a pool of water with a wet water Faerie and a wet red Lupe looking at me. In a few seconds, I recognize that I'm at the Healing Springs, and that Lupe was looking more familiar by the second... "Oh dear are you all right?" asks the Water Faerie, helping me to my feet. Everything was still swirling around me. "That was quite a nasty fall..." The Lupe wastes no time. "Have you seen Ruby?" Ruby. She's my Zafara. Of course, there are a blazillion other pets in Neopia also named Ruby. "She's a red Zafara. Green eyes. Short temper," continues the Lupe. Then, I recognize him. "FLEX!" I scream joyfully, throwing my arms around his neck. "Can't... breathe..." he squeaked. "It's me! Tenn! I wrote myself out of Neopia, but I'm officially your owner!" I say in one breath. Then I noticed that my beloved Flex was starting to turn blue. I loosened my grip slightly. "I don't have an owner," said Flex, confused. "Unless you're..." He trailed off and stared at me in awe. "Who?" I asked. "You're not The Author Above, are you?" "Uh, well, I wrote some stories about you and Ruby and Ace and all those guys in the NT, and a few comics, so I guess maybe I could be..." "It is you," he breathed in awe. "I can hardly believe it..." ((OOC: Yes, I am having some fun with myself now. And yes, I'll stop.)) "But I'm not supposed to be here," I told him quickly. "I'm from E--" I caught myself just in time. It was against the rules of the Neopian Times to mention Earth. What would happen if I talked about it while I was actually in Neopia, truly part of the story? Would they imprison me into an enormous block of ice? Send me on an all-expenses-paid trip to the Land of Delete? "I'm from... another planet. No, another universe. I'm not supposed to be here," I said frantically. "I don't know how I got here or anything." "If you're from another universe, how do you know about Neopia?" Flex asked me. I didn't know how to answer. Should I tell him some lie about how I'm a mystical sorceress who sees all? Or tell him that everything he's ever felt and loved is just a chunk of data sitting on a machine in California? I change the subject. "You said Ruby was missing." "She is! One second she was here, and the next- POOF! She just vanished into thin air! It was so weird..." Flex looked down over the edge of the cloud to the ocean below. Flex and Ruby, the Lupe and the Zafara, were best friends. (Not boyfriend and girlfriend.) It made sense that Flex would be so shaken. |

I arrived, panting, at the small transportation building in Neopia Central. Gasping for breath, I ran up to a ticket booth and wheezed, "2 tickets for the Virtupets Space Station!"
"Alright," the acara in the booth said, "it's leaving in 5 hours. You just missed the last one."
I groaned. "5 hours? Never mind... well Neofaerie, what now?"
The Kougra thought for a mniute, then answered, "we'll go to the neolodge sign-in place and get a room at Astrovilla. They'll take us there."

I sighed. "It's this thing where you put CD's that play music." I said. "Lemme take it out and show you."
I took out the CD player and gave the earphones to Eyroe. "Put those on your ears." I said, then I turned on the discman.
"AAAGH! TOO LOUD!" yelled Eyroe, taking off the headphones hurriedly.
"Oh yeah...you're part bird. You're sensible to sounds...I'll turn it down a bit..." I said, and did so. After a few minutes, Eyroe started bobbing his head to the music.
"Hey, this is good!" he exclaimed.

((Ohh just to tell you... If I'm not posting, that means I'm following someone  I'm still there, just following silently ^_^; Umm, for now... Lets say I'm following GLQ )) After being gone for a few minutes, I walk over to GLQ. "Hey, I found another way to the Space Station. However... It seems kind of run down... But its free! I remember sending my pets in it ages ago." ((Yes, I'm talking about the space shuttle! Wounder what happoned to that... I liked it However, this one is run down, and beat up -_-  ) |

I came out of the neolodge check-in, swinging room keys from my finger. I spotted Dominique and her Eyrie, and Neofaeire an dI went over and sat down beside her.
"It's another 50 minutes until the plane comes," I sigh. "Where's everyone else?"

Indalabray, however, is not so certain. He's known most trouble to be run-down.

Fira is dancing with glee about going on the ship.
"Its right over here! We just need to walk into the woods a little, and BAM we are there! I used to go on this think all the time! Its great!"
Fira is still dancing around, and Draco just smiles.
"Umm, what he said... And it will go off when ever we are ready. Oh, and its free! So we have a chance to grab any supplies we may need now."

((You know, just noticed Indalabray's name... In da lab ray Wow I'm slow )) Fira flies down to Indalabray's face. His eyes narrow. "It will fly. And if it doesn't, and we burst into flames while entering Neopia's atmosphere, so be it! Its a adventure, and all adventurers must end sooner or later!" I just look at Fira... "Umm, I don't think its wise to end your adventuring now..." I than look Indalabray. "Don't worry, I checked it out, and it looked preaty solid. The seats are a tad messed up, and the movie will be old, but all in all, its fine." |

((I made it that way on purpose. I created a lupe to use the lab ray with to have it find a good home after zapping it some good stats. Then I grew fond of having a lupe with me and kept him. ^_^; ))
"Well," Indalabray says, still unsure. "Okay, but don't look at me if whatever bad happens happens."
GLQ only stares at Indalabray's outburst.
