"Oooo fresh meat. 'Ello there." Cyborg said as he saw the new additions to the pirate roster. " 'Ow's da kraken...... um I mean blarf?"

The cloaked figure came up to the ship, showing only her icy blue eyes, and a few strands of jet black hair.
"So you are going pirating, and you need some crew?" She said. "I'm looking to get out of this town, there are some... people. They don't like me, so I wish to stay as far away from them as I can. I haven't much experience at sea, but pirating sounds like fun." She pondered for a moment. "My name's Jina, and I'd be happy to sign your roster, but I'd like to ask a favour. If any strangers ask about me, don't let them know I'm here."

Hunty looked up with a grin, squinting in the hot sun (because floating timelines are teh best and I love not having to do anything but sleep on the deck in at least one timeline :]).
"Don't let them know that you're here? Hon, that's part of the rules. For the most part, 'nyway. Welcome aboard, do make yerself at home."

A young woman with a pale complexion but hair as dark as the wing of a crow walked stepped onto the gangplank. She wore a black coat which hung gracefully around her body but it didn't disguise the slim sharp cutlass hanging off her hip in its scabbard on her leather belt. Those pale grey eyes looked around the ship and she smiled as something familiar twanged in her heart. It felt as if she was home.
"I wish to join this noble crew" she spoke as she came aboard. «I have experience with the sea and who knows when you need an extra cutlass in a fight. My name is Leste" the young woman nodded to the pirates respectfully. Leste swept a lock of hair out of her eyes and into the red band on her head. Sometimes she thought it had a mind of its own.

" Noble *laughs uncontrollably*...... uh I mean 'Ello there lass, I am Cyborg, earth mage extrodinaire, partier, rum drinker, kougra, underswabby though I hope to move up." Cyborg said as he offered his hand to the girl.

She walked up to the apparent captain. " Ello I'm Elizabeth and I'd like to join your crew."

I'm still not entirely sure why this turned out to be a RP-format x'D It gets horribly hard to come up with original posts at some point (not to mention floating timezones).
Not to mention, I'm lazy. Leste, Elizabeth, consider yourselves hired :3

"Hey," a thin girl said, clomping her way up to the makeshift desk. Her skin was slightly pale and her hair dropped down to the bottom of her neck. Her bangs parted at the middle and curved around her cheeks. Her hair was purple, but it appeared that her bangs were dyed a darker purple than the rest. She wore large black boots, which explained the clomping noises made as she walked, and a long black skirt as well as a small black jacket. She wasn't fairly attractive, really.
She slammed a hand lightly on the makeshift desk for no reason whatsoever. "I'm signing up. But I'm not gonna talk in a funny accent or anything 'cause that'll make my head hurt." The girl pondered something for a bit. "...Okay, I don't really have fighting experience...I've never used a gun...or a sword or anything...but I can help with repairs. That's useful, isn't it? I think I can forge a little too, but I doubt you'd have a forge on your ship..." The girl looked around once, muttered, "Hope I'm not too late...", then picked up the quill and signed a simple 'Karen' on the parchment.

Consider yourself hired. There's always woodwork to be done on a ship. The forecastle's down there, meals are roughly three times a day depending on who's cooking, and no fighting on board or you'll have a word with the barnacles on the keel, welcome aboard and have fun x3

Leptony lumbered up aft of Huntress at the table. He had been leaning against the main mast as it was the only thing close enough to a bulkhead thick enough to support his bulk. It was hard to miss the sound of the quarterdeck timbers rattling and groaning as he came.
"So's this mean we're double dutyin' as swordmasters an' musketeer trainers now lass, er Cap'n?" The hulking beast asked. His voice sounded fairly gruff to the newcomers, but Hunty and Cyborg already knew it was just Leptony's everyday speech.

This means that everyone does what they can, and there isn't much leeway in making mistakes, lest you get stab'd in battle. The best way to learn how to use a sword is use it against someone *cheery shrug* Then again, fact is that there's only one trick to using a sword: you hold on to the blunt end and stick the sharp end in other people. Everything else is the question of luck and good timing. Shooting works pretty much similarly. And Jackie-Chan-type creativity is encouraged :3

The hulking walrusie looking beast blinked once and let what she said process in his mind. She could see in his eyes how he was deciding if that was a joke or not. Then he smiled smirkishly, mostlybecause his tusks prevented any otherwise true smiling.
"I'll put more grape shot on the wants list."

A sigh flowed out of her lungs, as she drifted along, bored out of her mind. She lay on her black Solar surfer, goggles over her eyes, unable to see out of the shiny blue lenses.
Was the surfer even waterproof? She didn't know, she didn't care, she'd fix it later if it broke. That's one thing she'd always been good at, fixing her precious solar surfer, no matter what the problem.
Another sigh left her mouth, one hand and the two tips of her tail submerged in water, a black lump curled up on her stomach.
Suddenly, voices reached her ears and she propped herself up, pushing her goggles back onto her head and disturbing the fluffball, who fell to the Solar surfer with a thud and a small moan.
Kopa's blue eyes lit up as she found the source of the noise, it was a pirate ship! Sea pirates at that! How interesting this would be!
She jumped to her feet, her small wings growing until she hovered above the water. She snatched up the Solar surfer, the small black fluffball giving a moan as he rolled off, tiny wings only just stopping him from getting a soaking.
Kopa landed on board, folding the surfer up and attaching it to her back, the small black cat landing happily on her shoulder. "Hellooo?" She called out, looking up and down the deck. "My name's Kopa and I want to join your creww~"

If the deck really was that empty in the middle of the day, someone's in for a whack >> Then again, the meepits are nigh always around.
Consider yourself a pirate :3
