*just realized that a lot of faint-magic items were added months ago *
I feel like this thing should be revived. I've got several ideas for possible magic components. Several of my ideas actually involve items that have no specific element, or could belong to several possible elements, but still can effect magical properties. And do you think there should be any items with multiple elements? (I.e. A balrog horn could be dark and fire)

Sulfur: A substance commonly found in volcanic areas and used in gunpowder. It smells like rotten eggs. (Faint Fire)
Coconut Shavings: An edible substance often used in foods, and sometimes used in truth spells. (Faint Earth)
Whistle Grass: If you blow through a blade of this grass, you can make music. (Faint Air)
Firefly (Tail): The firefly is famous for its glowing tail. (Faint Light)
Fire Rock: A red stone that partially resembles a jewel. It came from a volcanic region and never cools. (Fire)
Everlasting Ice: A cold, clear ice crystal. It never melts under natural (non-magical) circumstances, though rumor has it that a few fire magics can melt it. (Water[Ice?])
Earthen Jewel: A strange crystal that was found deep within the earth. (Earth)
Air Crystal: A pale, transparent crystal that formed in the clouds. (Air)
Unicorn Horn: Shavings from the horn of a mystical unicorn. Sometimes used in wands. (Light)
Ent Leaf: These leaves are best used in magic when they're still green. Unfortunately, that's the hardest way to get them. (Earth)

Dragon Blood/Essence of Dragon (different kinds): Dragon blood is known for having many useful properties, some of which can vary depending on the dragon it was taken from.
Dragon Scale (different kinds): A scale taken from one of many possible dragons. A crystal dragon scale is sometimes used in transformation potions.
Magic-absorbing-Crystal-in-need-of-a-name: A crystal with a dark color (and magical pull) to resemble a black hole. Because it absorbs magic, it has no aura.
Star Metal: Metal that fell from the sky. It was various magical properties.
Mythril: A legendary metal, most commonly used by elves, that is very light, and yet very strong.
Pixie/Fairy/Faerie Dust: A sparkly dust material, sometimes used in spells that relate to children. Try not to scatter it in the air too much or you'll sneeze magic.
