Hm, I'll attend Subila's and Aly's classes. ^^
I'm thinking about holding a class too... hm.

Alright Elcie. *adds* Vyt: Well, in Spacefleet we've done it all in one thread, of corse, we're also doing one class at a time. One at a time hasn't been a problem since there are so few classes there, but right now there are four classes waiting to start here. So, I dunno. What do you guys think? Should we do them all at once in different threads, do them one-at-a-time in this thread, or let the teacher choose? If we do multiple classes simultaneously then we can turn this thread into just a sign-ups and class-listing thread and keep it fairly organized. (My personal vote is to do them all at once in separate threads )

I like the idea of separate threads. That way, if these go through dead phases like roleplays do, they won't hold each other up.

I agree with the idea of separating classes into threads. That way, we'd be expanding the guild!

Well, since the general consensus seems to be to have separate threads, go ahead and make your threads, teachers! I'll turn this into just a sign-up and listing (and perhaps magic class OOC) thread. *goes to change title*

Hmm. You know, I just realized I'm not good at lesson plans. XD Same here. xD I'm still trying to decide what the most basic thing you can teach is. So, these are going to be roleplayed out? Is there any specific setting we're teaching in? Also, you said something about tests, so are we going to give those, or just teaching magic?

Go ahead and take some time to plan, or brainstorm. You don't have to start right away. The tests part was mostly as a joke. You don't have to do tests if you don't want to. And even if you do, it doesn't have to be written. You could just ask the students to perform one or two spells to make sure they've learned them. And you could have it in whatever setting you want. It could be inside a random room in the Manor (which I'm sure there are several bajillion of ), the area just outside the Manor, on the roof, or maybe the forest. The last of which would match up best with what's going on in the roleplay right now, it isn't necessary to coordinate them, though.

*thinks* I don't know about the forest for me...fire and trees don't mix. ^^ Maybe the grounds of the Manor, outside--I don't think inside would work all too well either. And move it into the forest to test skill. Oh, and is Aly the only one that has innate protection from fire?

And move it into the forest to test skill. Oh, and is Aly the only one that has innate protection from fire? Whatever works for you. As for the fire thing: Omni has an automatic shield that protects her (but needs more energy than normal spells), but even that can offer varying amounts of protection (depending on things like distance and how much energy is left). If someone throws a fireball at her from ten feet away she'll be fine. If she's making a fireball in her own hand and slips up, she's more likely to get bald patches and minor burns.

Hm... I think a well-lit room would be good for light magic.

Omni: Oh. ^^ Aly herself is naturally protected--a desert would still be hot, but she can walk through an inferno with no damage. Well, except to her clothes. -_- Now, dragonfire or Sev is a different matter...^^
Salah: That would probably work. ^^
