Random thought: Would buying a music CD, importing all the songs from it onto your computer, and then selling off the CD to someone else (while keeping the songs) be considered illegal? XD; Also, *gestures to her siggy for any interested persons*

Likely, yes, PFA... part of the purchase of the CD is a license for the content. You lose the license when you sell the CD, so are no longer legally entitled to its content (if my guess is correct).

Likely, yes, PFA... part of the purchase of the CD is a license for the content. You lose the license when you sell the CD, so are no longer legally entitled to its content (if my guess is correct). I guess that makes sense. XD; I was just wondering, 'cause uhhh. There's a music CD I want, but there only seems to be like one copy of it in existence... Hey, Sarn.
