Lemorgoth hissed and tensed. She walked carefully towards, then threw her arm out and caught it quickly by the neck. A lightning bolt of magic went up into the arm from the creature and she clenched her teeth. She pulled it out into the open. It was a strange little thing; she wasn't sure what it was.

Amika suddenly had to shield even her mind-eyes as the thing was pulled into full view. There was so much magic shining from it, just pulsating... she buried her face in her hands.

Gwain looked at Amika. "Are you alright?" she asked.

[glow=red,2,300]Leona marched up to the creature. It looked like someone had crossed a tree frog with a cocker spaniel. Its body was distinctly frog-shaped, (although it walked on two legs) But it was covered in long, silky hair. Its eyes were beady and staring, and its neck and legs were covered in furry, fin-like webs of skin. The magic pulsating from it was an odd cross between earth and water magic, but by heck was it STRONG! Cringing from the sheer weight of the power, Leona grabbed the creature's hand and slapped it... hard. It was its turn to wince. "What in the name of the Bright-Eyed Sun were you trying to do? Kill us?"[/glow]

Amika muttered through her hands to Gwain, 'I am fine, but this much magic bothers me. If I look at it, it makes me feel ill.' She heard Leona reprimanding the... whatever it was... and wondered how it would react.

"Then don't look at it.." Lemorgoth advised the obvious. "What are you?" She asked the little creature
((too bad we don't ahve someone playing the... thing XP))

((Tell me about it XD Well, I'll play it for a bit.)) The creature gave a croaking sort of bark, and then said, rather obstinatly, 'I'm not TELLING. Mommy said I shouldn't TALK to STRANGERS.' Amika opened her eyes, but looked at the ground. 'You know... it sounds almost as though it is just a small child of the species it belongs to. Do you think --' But at that point, she was cut off by the creature. 'I'm NOT an IT!! My name is Myrianirelakheinahemaqua, and I'm 300 years old.' 'Well, er...' said Amika, now talking to the creature, 'I cannot quite say your name. Could I call you Myrian, for now?' 'Well... I GUESS...' said Myrian. 'Well, Myrian, could you tone down your glow a little bit? I can't look at you when you are like that.' 'Okay...' said Myrian, sounding rather sulky. At once, the throb in Amika's head reduced and she was able to look at Myrian. 'Myrian, why were you attacking us?' asked Amika gently. Myrian immeadiatly burst into loud sobs. 'I'm sorry!! I didn't mean to hurt you!! I just wanted to play, and... and... I got lost... and.. and... I can't find my MOMMY!!!' Amika turned to the others. 'It seems that if we want to be rid of her, we should find her mother and return her.' ((EDIT: That was actually kind of fun XD))

((Nice one, for once it's not a bad guy...))
Gwain nodded to Amika. "We could try helping you find your mother." she said to Myrian.

((Good job, Spirit - and I loved her name )) "Tell uss where you live, little one." Lemorgoth said. "I'm NOT little!" Myrian squeeled. "Yess, yess - not little." She replied, rolling her eyes. "Sso how can we find your Mom?" The cocker-spaniel/frog made a face.

((Thanks guys ^^ It was really fun XD I thought I'd be creative for once.)) 'Err... this may take some doing...' Amika hissed to the others. She walked up to Myrian. 'Myrian, could you tell us where you last saw your mother?' Myrian gave a loud gulp, and looked on the verge of tears. 'I don't know...' 'There there, do not cry again, please!!' said Amika. 'Can you at least tell us what your mother looks like?' 'Well,' said Myrian, 'she looks an awful lot like me, except she's bigger, and her magic is a lot stronger than mine. I'm pretty weak, actually.' Amika gulped. If Myrian's magic was considered weak where she came from, Amika was sure that her head would explode once she merely glimpsed Myrian's mother.

Myrian scowled. 'What do you mean, what kind of magic do I use??!! I use the magic that's natural to all our people!'

"Yess, but what magic might that be?" Lemogorth asked, patiently. Or at least she seemed patient. Myrian paused, thinking. Then her ((I assume it's a gilr??)) face wrinkled in perplextion. (sp? )

((Yep, Myrian is female XD)) Myrian continued in what apparently was very deep thought. Then she finally said, 'Well... I don't know... I don't know what kind of magic it is. It's just the kind all of my people use.' Amika thought for a moment. 'Does anyone here know how to define magic? I do, a little, but if anyone here is more experianced in it than I, they would be better for the job.'

[glow=red,2,300]Leona gritted her teeth. "If this one's weak, her mom's magic would probably SHATTER us." Seeing that she was reciving several glares she quickly added, "Probably. Maybe not. Maybe we'll only lose a few teeth or something. And I can't define magic. I make ping-pong balls float, but that's about it. That squirrel has more magic than I do." She said, pointing to a nearby squirrel.[/glow]
