"I do not know why the Bathul-gun sent me," the dragon replied. "They just came to me one day and told me to go after you. You will have to talk to them in person to find out why I was sent here."

'Bathul-gun...' Riani muttered, 'Sworn enemies of the Tijanese. I bet the Bathul-gun somehow knew that we had all gotten together, and sent the monster to break us up, or kill us all. One of them must have had some kind of prophecy... like, that we would all get together and destroy them once and for all.'

Ayoshi considered what the monster and Riani had said. "Well, this beast has no more information for us," she decided. "Should we kill it to make sure that it never bothers anyone else again? Or should we spare it? I'm not sure I trust it..."

Riani sheathed her sword. 'The Tijanese do not kill any more than they must. I vote to spare the beast, after placing upon it a simple forgetting spell - just to make sure it's not planning on reporting back to the Bathul-gun scum.'

"Good idea," said Ayoshi, nodding to Riani. "And then, I think we should try to find the Bathul-gun. They've been quiet lately... we should see what they're up to, sending monsters out to destroy people. They might be planning something..."

Riani nodded, and went to do the forgetting spell. With a single wing-enforced leap, she was atop the monster's shoulders. There, she placed her palms flat upon the top of it's head, and called to her the powers of the trees. She whispered a silent apology, that she was only borrowing them and that they would get them back. She found the memories of the fight, as well as images of themselves, in the monster's brain, and destroyed them. 'Done,' she said, jumping lightly back down to the ground, and giving the powers of the trees back to their rightful owners.

"Now, let's try and find the Bathul-gun," said Lyria. "Their home is on top of a dreaded mountain that nobody dares to voyage on. I'm afraid to go there myself."

Ayoshi thought for a second then said, "their about 2 days walks away from here. I guess we should get going..." She looked at her companions and said, "The mountains are directly west from here." She wrapped up her items in her cloak, tied it securely to her back, and started walking.

KIra nodded and followed Ayoshi.

After six hours of walking, Lyria noticed that the sun had set into the western mountains. "It's getting late, and I'm tired," said Lyria. "I think that we should camp out here for the night, then in the morning we will continue on our journey."

Kira wasn't tired, but she still nodded.

Riani nodded as well. She was not really tired either, but she laid out the blanket she had packed in her small pack, and sat on it.

Ayoshi sat down on the ground and placed her bundle of supplies in her cloak beside her. She smiled briefly at the others, then lay down and closed her eyes.

Kira sighed and lied down on her stomach. She lay down her head and closed her eyes. A few minutes later, she was asleep.

Riani stayed awake for quite some time. After a while, she got up from her blanket, and flew up to the highest still-sturdy branch of a nearby tree. There, wrapped in her wings and leaning against the old tree's trunk, she finally managed to get some rest.
