"We can't trust Auri! Look what she did to Xantara!" Raih said back. "It was the Guardians of Sound and you know it!" "We all know what Auri did to them! They fear her; she can make them do anything." "No she didn't! Is it not you who trained Auri when she first arrived?" "No! It was the Last Queen who trained Auri before the War broke out!" "You were the one who Aurikinug left to train Auri. You were the one who trained her mind." "So? I didn't tell Auri who to trust! Look at who she picked to be the Lord! He couldn't be trusted Either!" "How dare you say that about my cousin? He did nothing to you!" "Nothing he'd tell you! He did have a life before he became the Lord!" Kilith was silenced. No one had ever mentioned any of the Lords' or Ladys' lives before their Lady/Lordship began. It was often forgotten, for their own sake. "How dare you mention what he... what he was! It wasn't his fault! Nothing was proven! He didn't kill anyone!" |

Kira listened, though barely understanding anything. Star realms, queens, Lords and Ladies, it seemed like a whole different world here than in her dimension.

Of course, who would want to know that their prince, as they called him, was a murderer? That he killed-" "No! He didn't kill her! She was here; you saw her. In the back of the room, sitting there. Representing the country she moved to!" Kilith fought. Raih smirked. "Really? The country that she hates so much?" "She never hated it. She snuck away to see it." Raih pulled out a leather bound book. "To quote the Lady's diary: 'The country, Elexuth, I hate it. Nothing could be more dead! Everyones' souls have been sucked. There's no hope for it." "You are not to read any diary of a Lady! She'll have your head for it!" Kilith was stumped, though. No one could break into a Lady's diary! No one. There were too many spells and curses guarding them! "If you'll excuse me, Kira may me curious as to why Auri's most rusted friend is deniying her loyalty." Kilith walked away from her supirior, leaving Raih's jaw hanging. "You'll be the first to go when Aurikinug is back in power!" Raih hissed. Kilith started to turn, her face redening with anger, but thought better of it. "Kira, were you eavesdropping?" Kilith asked kindly, a smile appearing on her face. |

(Yeah, if you have something sticky, or something that'll dig into the wall. Of course, once you dig into the wall and pullw hatever out, it immediatly closes the hole back up.)

Dange gets an idea. He fishes out two ice picks. (the type you see mountain climbers use) "Well here goes..." Useing the picks he goes up the side of the cliff. Wondering why it seals back up.

"Lady Kitith, Lord Atugir would like to speak with you, without the... Kira." A black haired woman, obvisouly a messenger for Atugir, spoke to Kilith. "He is in the courtyard." " Did he say what it was about? I really must explain to Kira." Kilith asked. "He said it was confidential, and that he'd tell you when you got there." The woman replied. Kilith nodded, and beckoned for her to leave. "Kira, I'm sorry, this is really important. Where for you to go? You can't stay here, it's like a danger zone, but there isn't anywhere else...." Kilith began to franticly think. "Why not take her to the second courtyard, M'lady?" A black wolf, around Airi's size, had walked up. It bowed its head to each of the two. "Yes! The Second Courtyard. Come, Kira, it is important." Kilith said, nodding the wolf off. She started to a bright hallway. *~*~*~*~*~* The wolf growled slightly, but it sounded almost like a laugh. "Hasty to leave, are we?" He asked. |
