((*Bows down to Chris and Misslynx* I beg your forgiveness. I had a RPer's Block.)) The pull seems to triple it's force. Black fog litterally filled the path that the pull took. At first, it seemed as though everyone was seeing things. Then they relised that they save the truth. The path of fog was leading from Kira, to not the Shape, but Auri. Her eyes widened as she saw this. She froze. "Auri...?" Xantara asked her friend, quite possibly her Best Friend, Auri began to try and shoo away the fog. "I... I don't know! I'm not trying to!" Auri pleaded, trying to stop the swords being drawn and posed to attack Auri. "I'm telling the truth! Airi!" She turned to the white cat who had leaped to the room. "Tell them! You'd know, of all people!" Tears began to fall from her face as the cat glared and poised to attack Auri. "Autuo! Atugir!" She cried, but niether moved to beleive her. "Xantara? Kira? Please!"

Kira winced, as she saw the path of fog. Unwillingly, she stumbled forward, the force pulling her. What? Auri would never do that. At least not the Auri I know. What if...what if the Shape was doing this?
"Don't attack her..." Kira murmured. Anything louder would've made her stumble even farther forward, and she didn't want that.

Auri turned to Kira. It was obvious that Kira couldn't stand the force, though no one could. The black fog began to thicken. 'Kira, you can't take the fog. No one could. But you're the one that everyone needs right now.' Auri thought to Kira before taking a deep breath. "Melani...." She muttered, her voice breaking. The fog began to change it's direction, first to Airi, then to Atugir, then to Auri. "Farewell, friends." She muttered. With a cry of pain, she fell to the ground. Her skinned paled. she went limp. Nothing was alive about her. Xantara began to move to her, but Airi held her back. Atugir watched the whole thing. He bit his lips, causing it to bleed, but he just continued on. No one moved.

((Um...is the fog still there?))
"Auri!" Kira cried. Her lower lip started to tremble, and tears started to fill her eyes.

{{{OOC: Chris: I dunno what you're seeing... YOu mean the place where the staff is? That's a large.... Cave. Yeah, a cave. It's made of stone on the outside, and it's dug into a cliff, right on the edge of the Darklands, but the three entered near the edge anyway. On the inside it looks like you just stepped into the night sky. Everything is black, other than the silver stars and blue moon on the walls. Misslynx: Nope, the fog left when Auri.... Well, it left.}}} Auri slowly began to fade away, nothing being left behind, save her necklace. When she was completely gone, Atugir walked over and picked up the necklace. He smiled slightly when he rubbed the feather on it's side. "Kira, you'll be continuing on your journey soon," He paused to grab the sword that the Shape had had, "But I beleive you'll need this?" Xantara watched Airi and Autuo stalk out of the room, and she followed in the shadows. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* The Gryffen seemed to be following Chris. "Tell me, why are you trying to save her? What did she do for you?" It asked from next to Chris. Different colored eyes watched them from the shadows, staring always.

"I guess..." Kira muttered. She didn't know at all what to do, and she was like that ever since she had entered the council room.

"Well? Why?" The gryffen proded. It was like a five year old-Full of questions, most of which no one knew the answer to or wanted to answer. A pair of silver-blue eyes, somewhat like one of Auri's Familiars, watched them very closely. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* A scream was emitted from the hallway, peircing the almost silent room. A few guards rushed into the room, thinking that this was were it had sounded from. They all gasped at the sight. "Who screamed? Why?" One of them asked, the leader, it seemed. "None of us!" Raih answered. "It came from the hallway, where Xantara, Airi, and the dragon are!"

Kira was very confused. Okay, so...if Auri did the fog thing, was it really Auri? I don't think it was, but then again, I barely know her...but if it was the Shape, then WHY did HE do it? This is the most confusing problem I've ever had to solve in my life...

The guards rushed out to the hallway. THe leader, a thick-built man, rushed back in. "Healer Daimon! Xantara was attacked by some sort of feline!" He shouted to Lord Daimon. The Earth elemental quickly ran out, followed by the elementals, save the Lord of Darkness, who stayed behind to keep an eye on the Shape. "What did it look like?" Raih asked the guards, standing next to Xantara's body. "It was about the size of a male lion, with black feathered wings on it's back. It looked like it had either a reptile or a necklace 'round it's neck, though no one could see which one. Everyone was really dizzy when they entered, something about everything moving really slowly." One of the guards said. "But someone saw a moon shape on it's left flank, and another saw a demonic mark on it's left paw." "It finished doing something to Lady Xantara before high-tailing out." Another commented. Deep, seirous wounds were cut into the Elemental's stomache, neck, and chest. A black pendant that had hung around her neck was gone, and a mark showing that it was roughly torn off was on the back of her neck. "Oh Lord of the Wind," Atugir muttered. He picked up the chain the pendant had hung on. A black, starry-night jewel hung 'round it instead, with a piece of parchment tiying the two torn sides together. "It was Latanya and Terrutih,"

The Gryffen stayed silent, looking forward. Finnaly, it spoke. "Why didn't you ask why?"
