Kira nodded slowly, still having no idea what to do.

"Here is where all of the Elementals, the Queen and King, and leaders from the countries in the Magic Realm and The Cloud Queendom meet. It is only used in dier {Sp?} times." The man continued, glanced at the door from time to time. "Like now. As you know, Auri and Lorellie are important people in their homes. If they don't get back soon, darkness will plague the Magic Realm and the Could Queendom."
The woman walked back in, carrying something in a case. She sat it down on the table, then glanced at Kira sharply. She whispered someting to the man, who shook his head.

The griffen took flight. It circled the hill once, then flew into the portal gracefully. The faerie followed behind calmly.
Inside the portal was a dark plain {Grassland/Meadow like terrain, not without enteresting features.}}, tall grass reaching up to Dagne's waist. Little light reached the land, and what did seemed to be colored black. Eyes watched, the creatures that held them blending with the darkness. Storm clouds were hanging in the sky, and blue-black lightning rocketed across the sky. Thunder boomed across the land, almost shaking the ground.
"Welcome to the Darklands." The Faerie said.

Dange sighs "What do I do?"

Interesting, but I still don't know what I'm supposed to do. Kira thought to herself.

The lady opened the case and withdrew a pitch black sword, glowing midnight blue. She aimed it at Kira's chest.
"Ki!" THe man shouted at the lady.
"Inlugth, Kira aruth Airi!" The lady souted back, the sword still held steadily in postition.

"You get the staff. You bring the staff back to the Mortal Realm, you go on with your quest, got it?" The Faeries said, staring at the dark plains.

Kira quickly took a step back, and tried to get her bow and arrow, but nothing came to her hands. She didn't know why, but she didn't seem to be able to concentrate. Wether it was the dormant bodies, the sword in front of her or something else, she didn't even know.

Calm down, Kira, FOCUS... she thought, but in vain. As soon as she was focused on her bow and arrow, her mind went blank as she remembered the sword in front of her.

Okay, I CAN DO THIS...I did it before...FOCUS, FOCUS... she kept repeating, until finally her bow and arrow appeared, and she aimed the arrow at the woman, though not firing it. If the woman was to attack, she would fire the arrow. If not, then she wouldn't.

The sword began glowing silver-white, then it became a rainbow of colors. It was like the northern lights, contain to surrond a black sword.
"Kira eltihg, bosk Auri eilg Lorellie. Trust." The man said. When he found that he couldn't speak in human, other than a word here or there, he turned to the Lady. "Kish!"
"Neah!" THe Lady threw the sword, hitting Kira full out in the chest. Yet no pain came to Kira, no death, no blood, nothing.
"Killith! Meliang Dirthe Tiagh!" The man shouted, and the Lady laughed.
"Neah, Light, Trust, Tiagh."

Kira winced as she felt no pain, but the sword hit her in the chest. She put down her bow and arrow. M'kay...this is definitely wierd...

"Neah, Dark, Lies, Nigith." The man said, staring at the bloodless black sword. He didn't look surprised at the bloodlessness, but the Kira had even survived. Few had ever.
"Elathig." The Lady said, nodding.

"How come I have a sword in my chest and I'm not bleeding or feeling any pain AT ALL?" Kira asked.

"Elathig." The lady answered.
"It is a... test, you could call it." The man said, finally back in English.

"I...see..." Kira said hesitatingly. If it's a test, then it's the wierdest one I've heard of in my life.

[LadyDarkMage]

"Yes, no one's had the same reaction as you," The woman said, speaking in English for the first time to Kira in the COuncil Room. THe man nodded.
The sword, seemingly being forgotten, started glowing a pitch black color. Pain shot through Kira's body, almost as bad as if she had been stabbed millions of times, all over her body.
"Neah! Neah! Righthei momith seith!" THe man shouted to the Lady.
"Neahirt! Gurith righth furothe!" The woman cried, trying to call off the sword.
A thick black liquid drenched the sword. The sword glew darker and darker, until it seemed almost impossible to get any darker.
"NEAH!" The lady shouted, trying to call off the sword as best she could, though it wouldn't budge.
"Rightthei! Righthei!" The man shouted, though the sword just began dripping more black liquid.

Kira fell to her knees with the pain, trying to pull the sword out. It wouldn't budge.

The pain all over Kira's body stopped. IT was all centered on the cut, digging inbetween her middle rib bones. Real blood came out, mixing with the black liquid. The man and woman rushed over, the lady carrying a vase of pure Faerie Spring Water, one of the best healing ingrediants ever.
She splashed some onto Kira's cut, but it only bled worse/
"Neah! Neah! Neah! Neathy unduth! NEAH!" The Man shouted. Guards rushed into the council room, their eyes widening at the black liquid.
"Curseyth?" One of them, a woman in black, asked. The man gravely nodded. "Elagih." She drew her sword, aiming it at Kira.
