"A) Auri would've fallen through anyway. The people out to get her have their ways. B) Everyone falls into traps. I've fallen into countless traps, and even Auri been in quite a few. C) That *isn't* the easiest sword to steal, and I'm not sure who really would want *that* sword." The Faerie replied. She began to stare at the sword. Soon it's secret would come out. Soon.

"What? What do you mean, not sure who really would want it?" Kira asked.

"Well it's powerless for one thing." The faerie picked it up. "And for another," She lifted out her upper leg, making it form three sides of a square, and raised the sword above her knee. "It's pointless." She brought it down on her leg. It snapped like a twig.

"Oh, so on top of being a worthless slump, I nearly kill myself for a sword that snaps in two as soon as it touches something. That's just great." Kira replied.

"But it wasn't a pointless adventure. You passed," The faerie said, rubbing the jewel angerly, almost.

"Passed what? This was all some sort of test?"

"Basicly, yes. It was a test." The faerie said, a swirling portal opening in the jewel. It was still in the jewel, but soon it would come out.

Kira didn't say anything. She didn't like it when things were told to her in a different way than they really were. They had lied to her, about a thing that was very important. And the lady said it was the only other way to help...so that basically means I just ruined everything even MORE. Kira sighed.

The faerie looked at the portal. "Soon enough you'll see..." She said. The eyes returned once more, but the faerie didn't glare. Now she almost willed that the being holding them would come out. *~*~*~*~**~**~*~*~*~*~***~~~** "But it wasn't really lieing. You had to get this sword," The faerie nodded to the shards left on the ground, "To get the portal to the real sword's shrine." The portal that had been forming in the jewel blasted out, knocking the faerie off her feet. She didn't notice, but seemed glad that she could make the portal at all.

Dange looks at the portal. He sees the eyes and backs up a couple of steps. Alarmed.

"Yes, if you wish to get the sword." The Faerie said. "But you'll be on your own. No one in there is allowed to help you, least they wish punishment." The portal still swirled.
*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
The eyes swooped out of the portal, attached to a large, black griffen. It appeared to just be a shadow, for Nothing, absolutly nothing, was any color other than black.

"Okay." Kira replied. She took a deep breath, and stepped into the portal.

Inside the portal was a dark room. A long table of beings sat, dormant to the world. Through the windows one could see a vast ocean, while on the other side of the building, where there were no windows, a vast forest ranged. At the head of the table were the man and woman that had met with Kira earlier. They appeared to be the only ones living, with the other just being shells of bodies. They were whispering something, a few words here or there being 'Kira..... Sword.... Magic Realm...... Dark....... Auri..... Lorellie....' Darkness plauged the corners of the large room, now or then a glowing eye blinking.
