Kira backed up as she saw the creature. She instinctively created a small fireball, but didn't fire it yet, curious of what the creature would do.

The creature snarled.
"You shall not get the Air Sword of Airuthe!" It shouted, it's voice booming. The sword glowed brighter, and began to levitate into the air just behind the creature.

"Oh yeah? We'll see about that!" Kira replied. She threw a fireball at the creature, hitting it.

The creature snarled out of pain and leaped onto Kira, knocking her to the ground. It reached out it's mouth quickly, biting her hard on the shoulder with it's fangs, dripping a purple substance.

Kira wanted to yell with pain, but no sound came out of her mouth. It seemed as a big ball had grown in there, blocking all sound and making breathing difficult for her. I don't think this is going to be easy. she thought.

The creature snarled and bit down again, this time on her other shoulder. It calwed at her with it's talons, scratching up her legs baddly. It's jewel glowed as it attacked Kira.

Get off me you fanged bird! Kira thought, creating a fireball in both of her hands and pushing them straight into the creature's chest, getting the opportunity to get up while it snarled with pain. She created more fireballs, shooting them all at the creature.
I don't think I'll be able to do it with only my hands and powers. I need some kind of weapon. But there's only the air sword, and I have to defeat this creature to get it. Think, Kira, think!

THe creeature snarled at every fireball. It leaned it's head up, collecting Elemental Powers. When it had enough power it formed a ball of glowing light, blasting it at Kira.
"Take that!" It shouted.

Kira tried to dodge the ball but still got hit on the left shoulder. Maybe I could summon the sacred weapon...but I got banned, I can't use it...we can always try...
She closed her eyes, concentrated and a sword appeared in her hands. She charged at the creature and swung the sword at it, creating a deep cut in thecreature's right wing.

THe creature screeched, but the cut only made it fight harder. It's closed beak jammed into Kira's leg, putting a large circlure hole in it. It's jewel flarred brighter when it shot small tornados at Kira.

Kira didn't give up, though she was seriously wounded, she was determined to win the battle. She swung the sword again and again, hitting the creature every time.

THe creature gave one last blow at Kira, hitting her head with it's beak, before dropping dead, leaving blue and silver blood all over the place.

Kira grimaced as she saw the blood. She crouched and took a close look at the dead creature, especially the jewel on it's forehead. This must be one of the jewel they were talking about. she thought. She took it, got back up and walked towards the sword, her head throbbing. She started to feel dizzy, the venom the creature had injected in her body starting to make effect. She was halfway to the sword that she fell to the ground, unconsious.

"Tairu Meuth, Tairu Meuth. Melana aruth, forught reguht, selaned thert." A voice sang, bracking the darkness. In the corner of a dark room was a girl, only about 13, her wavy blue and silver hair reaching her ankels. Her eyes were closed, though tears still fell from her face.
A woman walked in, her straight blond hair reaching her shoulders. She kneeled down next to the girl, wrapping her arms around the girl's shoulders. She too sang, but right into the girl's ear so no one else could hear. The tears stopped flowing.
"Really?" THe girl asked hopefully.
"Yes, Auri." The woman replied.
Suddenly they were both gone, replaced by a dead feild, stormy clouds hanging over it. THe clouds were dangerous looking, with the shade of brown you get from mixing all colors together along with a stormy gray. Lightning streaked the clouds. Thunder shook the single tree standing in the feild.
A woman stood in the middle of the feild. Her eyes and hair matched the colors of the clouds,. Her grey dress reached the ground, and was blowing harshly in the wind. Tears streamed from her face.
"Tairu Meuth, Tairu Meuth. Melana aruth, forught reguht, selaned thert." She sang. The wind carried her voice, wrapping it around Kira. "Eruthgin melrig uthe. Elash Habiguth, Irniuth meugrt. Gurthy frouth, meuthli gouther. Miyalyu, SIguth. Kitonith youreh douth youghter,"
The sceanrey once again changed to darkness. Nothing was there other than two small, glowing, forms. They were shapeless, merely things, no real life in them. "Elash Habiguth, Irniuth meugrt. Gurthy frouth, meuthli gouther. Miyalyu, SIguth. Kitonith youreh douth youghter," The one closer to Kira sang, only a whisper of a voice. They turned to Kira. Both took shapes. Both were still white and glowing, though the singing one was in the shape of Auri, the other in the shape of Lorellie. "Tairu!" They shouted in unison.
It all fell away, fadeing into dakrness. Though the single voice still sang "Elash Habiguth, Irniuth meugrt. Gurthy frouth, meuthli gouther. Miyalyu, SIguth. Kitonith youreh douth youghter." Kira was now fully healed.

Though no longer wounded, Kira didn't open her eyes. She seemed in a state between sleeping and being unconsious. She held the gem tight in her hand.
FAIRY-SAMA! a male voice boomed in her mind. Kira could hear it, but barely understand it in her current state. The voice seemed familiar, but she wasn't able to match it to someone she knew or had known before. You were banned, you dishonored your family! I thought you had learned your lesson! Now you go and make yourself in even more trouble, by taking the sacred sword of te warrior, simply to beat a tiny bird?! You make me disgusted, fairy-sama.
